Well boys… might be the end of gear for me.

Most likely hypoglycemia and anxiety in this case… but needs to go to the hospital to be sure
Yeah so I was freaking out about that. Built some anxiety so now
I’ve measured my blood sugar every few hours ever since I really noticed these issues.
And at the peak of these feelings (arm weakness, lightheaded weak/ etc)

So on vacation I had a few moments of weak dizzy spells. Even while eating. But not as bad as I am now.
I definitely had a blood sugar crash the day I got back from vacation. Probably from dehydration and crappy diet.
Watched it go from 50 something down to 40 over 6 different test strips. I was like no way that’s right. Well it was. I almost passed out.

Fast forward 2-3 days later, it’s been stable
Fasted in the AM was 80, 85, 79
Post food sub 150 mg/dl depending what I’m eating

So I’m not sure on hypoglycemia. But I’m bringing it up with my Doctor.
And monitoring myself all day.

Double check those reds ur eating and get ur iron levels every type of iron saturation etc… checked!

A few guys i know have had issues related to using reds powders due to beets and it greatly effected their iron and blood pressure…

Eating steak on vaca maybe have been why u felt so great especially if ur iron is jacked… just sayin…

@NotHuman

Didnt reds end up messin u up for a time before??
So I actually messed up, I don’t take reds or greens all the often. I’ve had a tub of 30 servings for over a year and it’s still half full.

My bad. But the iron thing, that’s a good thing to check as well. It’s been normal in my labs. But we’ll see what it comes back as now.

woke up last night choking on my tongue, proceed to burp up large amounts of air for 10 minutes straight
Damn dude that’s not good!

Do you wear nose strips? Those kinda help me with better oxygen flow, but not much.

I also cut dairy out completely. Found dairy made me more congested & I’d snore more if I had dairy before bed

And on blast it was way worse. Now just TRT dose im doing it still.

Are you using a CGM? Since getting raw data from CGM, I was shocked at the discrepancy between (a) pricking your finger a couple times, and (b) times of day where you’d expect peaks and nadirs diverging from reality (reality being the CGM data).

Bright side: if they rule everything else out, you could get scripted a lovely CGM… the prescription-only ones are tanks. Note, they’re more expensive for Android users than iPhone, surprisingly

Just a typical glucose monitor with the finger prick and the test strip.

And CGM would be great. To obviously monitor these issues & when I’m back in the gym. I’d love to see how certain foods and my pre/intra/post workout affect my levels.

We’ll see what my doctor says / does.

Good luck buddy, glad you're getting professional medical support. I really don't think your trt but who knows.

"Elevated" is 121-130.

140 is Stage 2 hypertension. Pretty serious.
In a few years having a pulse will be indication for medicating. BP guidelines get lower by the year and there is very obvious fucking reason why. It rimes with profits.

120 ain't elevated. It's normal.

Same as cholesterol. We went from 200 to needs to be less than 120. Next thing you know they will prescribing statins to infants

Most BP meds are generics that are cheap as shit with little profit, The standards are based in really long term studies involving huge numbers of people. If anything, they're slow as hell to change standards even when the evidence of benefit (and harms) is clear.

Still, medication is not the first line treatment for 120-129. That's just the recognition people don't go from normal to hypertension overnight. They want that range to be the signal for lifestyle change.

At 130, hypertension stage 1, they only advise medication based on having certain risk factors.

Most people without family history, high lipids, smoker, etc, won't get prescribed meds at that BP for a year, so they can try to get it down with weight loss etc. Some cardiologists say waiting that year is harmful, and pushing BP back into 120s right away is better,

At 140, stage 2 meds are prescribed regardless of risk factors.

The damage they're looking based on all this data is what accumulates long term at high BP levels, not a 140=stroke next month type of thing, Kidneys slowly getting fucked, microscopic vessels in the brain bursting leading to mental decline, etc.

I don’t drink regularly. Haven’t since I got into the gym and on TRT 6 years ago.
Had two drinks on vacation which honestly were very weak

Alcohol consumption is dropping. GLPs are playing a part in that. Eliminated the desire for alcohol in a lot of people. To the point Sema is on track for approval as a treatment for alcoholism.

Remember when they told us a drink a day was healthy? LOL, completely reversed themselves on that.

“I really don’t think your trt”
What do you mean?

I’m on my prescribed amount currently 150mg every week.
Of course I was blasting months ago. But not now.

I had a test level of 200 something at age 21.
Hypogonadism

Sorry, that should have said I really don't think it's your trt that's causing this.

There are consumer versions too, Freestyle and Dexacom have em. They’re good with the right software

Couldn’t agree more, all these are Goldilocks Problems (not too high nor too low) rather than lower being better

Well fml.
Thought I was doing ok.

Was walking back up to my apartment. Vision got very weird and tremors kicked in.
Caught my blood sugar crashing. Out of nowhere. Felt very weak. Checked my blood sugar immediately
60, 57, 55

Reached out to my mother. For some medical history.
She got her thyroid removed for
Multinodular Goiter (lumps in her thyroid)
Was talking about my symptoms and she said she shared a lot of them. Also seemed to be stronger very conveniently after being on ADHD meds, which I also have been (last year) whether those had a direct effect, who knows.

Grandma, aunt, and mother have thyroid issues. Cool.

Either way the Doctor(s) are gonna have a fun time with me lmao

Yall may feel bullet proof on gear and or feeling real healthy. But man. All this shit came out of nowhere. Had some random illnesses here and there. But this stuff…Really came hard and out of nowhere. Stay safe yall. Keep up on your labs and check ups.

keep yall posted on what the doctor says. For knowledge and what not on the forum.
Appreciate yall.
