Vasectomies… your experiences. Can I be on for it?

Going to get the v snip. I was going to a couple years ago then the viddy co happened, and I had another child instead.

I’ve been completely off since November, everything including trt. I’ve been wanting to go back on but postponing until I can make it worthwhile. Career issues have been an obstacle.

Now I’m in process to get the snip but I’ve been putting off getting on due to concerns over procedure. I definitely have testicular shrinkage while on. Also I don’t feel good about casually mentioning something about situation to the doctor, to know if this could cause an issue with procedure.

I’m pretty sure they got something in my file already regarding aas use, although I’ve never said anything. I switched doctors because of this, and denied any use. However, my size and general look likely made it impossible to go unnoticed.

Any experiences with getting a vasectomy on or off would be appreciated.

As an elective procedure conducted under a local unless your VS, BP in particular, is an issue you should be GTG

I was on test tren mast when I got mine (planned parenthood did it). I was honest with my doctor because I wanted him to know in case he gave me any drugs that interacted with the steroids I was on. It was a surprisingly easy surgery. Outpatient, awake, dr numbed my balls, we chatted while he clipped me, I drove myself home no pain meds no controlled substances to relax me just novacaine (sp?). Wore an athletic supporter and iced my nuts for 3 days, was back at work on day 4. Lifting heavy by day 8. I gave two semen samples prior to being given the ok to not use a condom.

Literally was the easiest surgery of my life. Getting a cap on my broken tooth was harder in my experience.

Simple solution would be to buy a cheap microscope with 50x magnification.

A pack of slides and coverslips.

Jizz in a jar and let it liquify for 60 minutes and put a drop on the slide and cover and look for sperm.

I've got a close to zero sperm count on numerous occasions using a hemocytometer(counting chamber).

There's no reason a guy couldn't do this on themselves it's not something that takes much skill if you got sperm you'll see them wiggling and zipping all over the place. If you're zero and or your sperm morphology is looking like shit because you have no FSH then you know you're sterile.

Vs? My bp has never been an issue.
I just had bloods done and they said my cholesterol was high but both were high h and l like I’ve experienced in past, and personally I don’t think it’s an issue.
The same way my bmi is that I’m obese. With abs. I eat a lot of sirloin and ground chuck.
My liver and kidney were good which are the ones I was worried about given my age.

AAS will not interfere with anything. It is literally a 15-minute ordeal with some slight soreness for a couple of days later.

My concern is with the testies being “off” causing some issue with surgery. Versus if I was as I am now with low hanging fruits.

Had it done while blasting and cruising the last 4-5 years. Sack wasn’t big to begin with and atrophied pretty good (doesn’t bother me). Doc never said a word and felt the the cords to cut on my initial visit. Went to a doc that does the scalpel free and the worst part was getting the numbing agent that felt like stapling my sack. I was playing softball 2 days after the surgery, but wore a jock strap to keep my shit from flipping everywhere and it wasn’t bad at all. (Regardless of playing sports I would recommend getting a jock strap just to keep them close to the body).
