USA Discounted Blood work

The labs i do through Fitomics never show up in my Labcorp portal unless i send them email asking them to put them there. I have no idea why as the info matches what’s on my portal
Weird, my first notification is usually from Labcorp that they’re ready, before Fitomics sends the email.

Unfortunately, its the stupid medical system. The only way we have been able to figure out how to obfuscate this is to order under a pseudonym or use a smaller independent lab. Both LC and Quest are part of the LabPiQture network.
So if we order under a pseudonym vita fitnomics or goodlabs and provide the pseudonym details when arriving at a testing center it really shouldn't link back to anything?

Labs want identification when getting bloodwork. Unless you have fake IDs, it would be hard to see this working.

Don't use full name.
ID does not need full match.

If you're John Doe obviously don't buy a labtest for Tom Smith.
John D? Sure.

I stopped using my full name, it no longer turns up in LC portal.

Am i the only one who doesn’t like the new Fitomics portal? Ordering labs just became a whole lot more of a pain in the ass, not too mention the “dynamic” pricing i saw on some various tests. Hopefully the old page stays active because it’s much more simple to use from an ordering labs standpoint

I've kept a spreadsheet with the tests I regularly order along with the price. A quick glance at the new order page shows prices went up a lot:

Cystatin C: $19.76 -> $27.00
Testosterone LC/MS: $22.48 -> $34.90
SHBG: $16.99 -> $19.90
Reverse T3: $12.93 -> $21.90
Advanced Iron Panel: $13 -> $58.71 !!!!!!!!!!!

With the subscription fee fitomics won't be competitive on price anymore.

You're not the first I've heard say this which has me kinda sketched on switching over. My current sub runs out in a couple days and I have all my tests ordered for the foreseeable future.

Some questions @DonLigero

Does converting your account block you from the old way of ordering? When you resub, are you now forced into the new portal? I see they have an enticing 15% off your first order when you convert an existing account. Would this apply to resubs? I don't need it every month so I just pay as I go.

Try checking again, i noticed the prices changed a bit when i rechecked them, hence the “dynamic” pricing comment. Still higher but constantly changing doesn’t sit well

To my understanding, they're still adjusting prices. Email them and ask them to price match the old store.

Yes. I don't recommend switching over yet.
