I was reading an article regarding the car business in Playboy over the weekend. In this article it mentioned that the 2005(?) cost of the UAW legacies and their benefits was 5.6 Billion dollars.
Damn those union workers and their posh contracts.
But wait! In that same year, the legacy costs for the white collar workers (management, engineers, clerical, etc.) was 7 billion dollars. Double-
How come only the union is blamed? Seems to me that those suit wearing fucks who spend more time golfing than working have 1.3 billion dollars more to answer for.
