Turkeybuilder's first cycle! SUBQ ONLY!

Today marks the end of week 13 and the start of week 14

Week 1 average weight: 167.7lb (Previous week 165.3)
Week 2 average weight: 168.4lb (+0.7lb)
Week 3 average weight: 169.2lb (+0.8lb)
Week 4 average weight: 170.4lb (+1.2lb)
Week 5 average weight: 173.8lb (+3.4lb)
Week 6 average weight: 173.8lb (+0lb)
Week 7 average weight: 174.4lb (+0.6lb)
Week 8 average weight: 174.9lb (+0.5lb)
Week 9 average weight: 180.3lb (+5.4lb)
Week 10 average weight: 180.3lb (+0lb)
Week 11 average weight: on vacation
Week 12 average weight: 185.8lb (+5.5lb)
Week 13 average weight: 182.6 (-3.2lb)

Looks like I finally shed off all of the vacation water weight. My weekly average is a little misleading since I was a lot heavier at the start of the week, but my morning weight this morning was 179.8. Hoping to have a weekly avg of 180-181 for this next week. Weight has still been increasing on lifts and I feel good. I'll be drawing labs this week a full panel most likely so we can see how badly the anavar has fucked me up.

I am considering calling the bulk quits at the end of week 16 and then using weeks 17-20 as a "maintenance" to bridge myself into my cut. Is something like that smart to do? I think I read somewhere if you extend your cycle from 16 to 20 weeks you retain more of your gains? I plan on transitioning to 200mg IM test cyp with daily injections at the end of week 20.

I guess in my head (unless you guys have a better idea) is:

Continue to bulk until the end of week 16
Maintenance calories (still on 525mg test/wk) from weeks 17-20
Drop test to 200mg/wk at the end of week 20 and begin a 500 calorie deficit cut

Not trying to be a huge dick but I really don’t see much of a difference in these photos at all. I honestly thought your back photos were some proof until I realized the bottom pic is the most recent when I thought it was the starting pic and the top was the most recent. Your posing is slightly off which might be making it hard for me to tell. If I were you I wouldn’t stop my “bulk” as I can’t tell much has happened by these pics. Is your strength up?

How much did your lifts change from week1?

Hey no offense taken at all man. My posing is pretty awful I agree lol so its hard to see any physique progress since I can’t get consistent photos in the same exact pose.

I do agree with you in terms of I don’t see a lot of difference in physique changes but what makes me know I made progress is the fact that I have gained about 18lb since the start of my bulk and gained pretty much little to no body fat. My strength has increased a lot as well from week 1.

My 1RM on bench went from being able to barely hit 275, to now 385. Before my initial cut (like before I started “trt” and reta, my 1RM was 345. I hit that at around 200lb body weight. Now i’m able to hit 385 at 182lb body weight

My strength gains have been more impressive than the physique changes but I think the physique changes will be more noticeable once I cut down. I’m planning on cutting back down to my starting bulk weight, which was 164lb. We will see then

Ok

Yeah man that definitely is telling for sure! Awesome progress! Especially on bench! Again def was not being an asshole, pics are hard to get right unless pretty identical poses lighting etc. scale doesn't lie and neither does the iron! I would honestly stay the course if bloods and vitals are good!

I appreciate the advice man! Honestly I feel pretty burnt out and overtrained i still plan on cutting my bulk short at the end of week 16 and then transitioning into a maintenance then a cut. I’d like to be around 8-10% BF by May/June

By the pictures it's impossible to tell that you managed to increase the bench by that much. Leaning down will probably show better the muscle gain.
Anyways congrats on the progress. Just one more question, I've clicked on your profile just now and saw that you ordered/switched to tirz. Any particular reason for not continuing with the reta?

I still use reta, not tirz. I buy tirz kits because I resell to a few people IRL. I realized a lot of people I know IRL spend like 600-700$ a month at med spas or doctors paying off insurance for tirz so I figured I could buy some tirz kits and re-sell vials to people and make some money for myself, and save a shit ton of money for them lol

And yeah I agree with you, those pictures I think do an awful job of displaying any sort of progress, but realistically 18 ish lb isnt that much of a change anyways for it to be super visible. i'm hoping to look like an entirely different person this time around though when I get around the 160lbs again
