Trying to make my own BAC water

What you want is water for injection (WFI) not sterile water. Add 1% BA to it and then filter .22um or .2um into sterile vials. Not .45 mentioned by the other poster. If you're in the us it should be relatively easy to get.

Sterile water contains pyrogens which cannot be filtered out.

May i ask whats the point of filtering the WFI after you add BA? WFI is sterile, non-pyrogenic, and highly purified water,imo there is no need for filtration,just transfer it to a sterile vial and add BA is more logical. I dont say that filtration can harm but its absolutely an overkill.

If WFI package is 50 ml for example and you transfer it with a single aspiration is that considered safe? I buy WFI in 50 ml package,aspire it all,add to sterilized 10ml vials and then add to each vial the BA. With this particular routine you think it needs filtering?

If the BAC water is not coming in contact with any bacteria, spores or whatever, than its pretty much still sterile.

No need to filter. Just wipe everything with alcohol before the usage. I just put the BA into the 50 ml vial, mix it and than if needed take some out to reconstitute my vials.
