My prescriber puts 10mL vial but most of the time they give me 10 1mL vials instead. Have a nice collection in case of hard times.

When I was on prescribed TRT I would get 10ml bottles. A buddy of mine is on TRT he’s on 100mg a week. His doc prescribed those 1ml bottles and tells him to do 1/2 ml a week throw the other 1/2 ml away that it’s no good if it sits. I told him he’s fine to use the remainder the next week now every few month he brings in the sealed left over baby vials and gives them to me says I don’t want to waste them. Haha.

The doctor can decide. I once had a prescription for something like 7 mL for 90 days or something odd like that, and they gave me a 5 mL bottle and then I had to return on multiple trips for 1 mL vials, and it was more expensive than one 10mL vial

I told my doc in no uncertain terms not to do that again and why. I always got 10mL after that.

Also, I get the prescription in writing and take it wherever GoodRx tells me that a 10ml bottle is cheapest.

Right now GoodRx is saying anywhere from $43 at Publix (which is where I usually go) to $53-55 at Walgreens, CVS, Walmart up to $202 at Costco.

The 'nice' thing about the 1ml vials - especially if you are only doing trt doses most of the time - is that if you use a slin pin there's a little bit more than 1ml in each vial. Figure 1.1 - 1.2 ml. Combine that with refill your rx as early as you can - and eventually you get some extra test laying around.

After stocking up on this for 5 years of TRT, I've ran 2 short blasts of 300 and 400 a week, and am now in week 9 of a blast where I've got up to 600 test a week - and this is the stock I still have left. That looks like 65 or so ml of test.

Which is silly - as that's only 6 real vials - but still - I don't have to buy test.

Yeah buy some UGL and stockpile your TRT Cyp. Thats what I do as well.
