Training in the AM/ Pre workout meal

If you were to train first thing in the morning, let's say 6am, what would be your go-to breakfast/pre workout meal? I can't eat oats period, they digest terribly and would send me back to bed bloated. Shredded wheat with 45g whey poured over isn't too bad but I'd have to eat it a good 90mins pre training. Fasted sucks, I get no pump and I'm kinda burned out after a couple exercises.

I may try 3 rice crispy squares bars, 45g whey and some sea salt a better pump, could even add a piece of fruit with that, about an hour pre training... Suggestions?

Anything rice based (cream of rice, rice cakes etc.) paired with a whey isolate. Super easy to digest. Throw in a little PB to slow digestion of the meal slightly if need be.

Dates bro. I've had some of the sickest lifts of my life on nothing but 4 dates.

Lol not sure if serious but i used to make these wicked energy balls. You just take dates, prunes, raisins, and some nuts of your choice (i like walnuts), crush the nuts up with a mallet then thriw everything in a food processor and mix it all up. Then just scoop it out with a spoon, roll into golf-ball sized balls, put in the fridge and voila. Grab and go as needed. You can also add oats into the mix probably, but i never did, i had a different recipe for oatmeal/coconut/chocolate drop cookies (no oven) that took just minutes to make and provided easily portable ready to go oatmeal.

I think you should try the taste of what you cook for yourself. I wondered how tasty it is or not.
