Tough Mudder

Has anyone done the Tough Mudder events before? In October my Wife, daughter snd myself did the 5k one they had outside of Dallas. We really enjoyed it and surprised ourselves with how well we got through it.

My wife and I have our 15 year anniversary coming up mid July. So we decided to do Tough Mudders 15k in Colorado July 22nd. I am excited and nervous. I haven't ever done a run that long and damn sure haven't done one with obsticals.

Just wondering if any of you have done the 15k before. If so what as it like. Also anyone that has done any of their events what did you think about it?

Those look fun, those and the ragnar which looks rough but fun. I’ve done a terrain race which left me wanting more it wasn’t very challenging but extremely fun.

The 5k tough mudder we did definitely had some difficult obstacles. Some weren't very hard you just either got muddy or jumped into freezing water. However some were hard and took multiple tries or required you to get help or help out other runners. It was definitely worth the trip. I am interested to see how hard the challenges are in the 15k. The 5k had like 7-9 obstacles, the 15k will have way more.
