To those that refuse to rack their weights..

There is a fucktard at my club that does seated curl drop sets and when he's done he just gets up and leaves. Like six sets of db's under the seat. I want to slap him in his teeth with a fucking school bus, but I'm working on my relationship with Jesus right now.
Yes and I'm the one that tripped over them and hit my head on the bench nearby

Seriously that dude has a lot of chutzpah...

I'm glad I go to a real gym so people re rack weights but hell I've been to La Fitness and those chain gyms before and I'm amazed how much of a mess leaves those places.

I also have my own home gym set up so I can avoid the gym all together if need be.

That should be posted at every gym!

The worst are the people who use the leg press machine and using every darn 45lb plate in the room when others need them

we put a sign on the weight racks , it says,
if you have trouble putting the weights back go to the office and one of the girls will come help you ..

Might consider this just to talk to the girls

That being said I always rack my weights, it's just a habit at this point. I leave 1 set of 45s on both the bench & squat bars though. Most people warm up with that at least.

Surprised no one mentioned assholes leaving a sweaty bench or leg press and not wiping it down when finished. Happened this morning and I thought the guy I was lifting with head was going to explode. He did rack his weights however....fucker!

in my gym, its the fucking school kids.. i swear they roam in little packs of uselessness, leaving weights everywhere.. 3 motherfuckers sitting on the only bench press in the tiny ass gym, and texting..

What gets on my nerves is when people leave benches all over the place, so you have to drag them out off the way when you want to get on a machine.

Or, you'll be working out on a machine and then someone moves a bench like right next to where you're training, usually blocking you from putting more plates on or taking them off...or blocking the weight trees so you can't re-rack the plates without dragging the bench away. This really sucks when you're gassed and you gotta drag a heavy adjustable incline bench across a rubber gym floor.

What people like to do at the Smith machines is to move the benches out of the way so they can do their stationary lunges or whatever; but when they move them, they don't pull them towards an uncluttered area, but instead they move them into the already narrow spaces between machines, or again, they block the walkway or the weight trees.

Sucks.

My gym has the all metal db's and the weight #'s on some have worn off so some enterprising people wrote the weight in magic marker. Ohh ocd moments!
