Tirzepatide research results

So initially I was going to post them all at once but I thought it would stuff with the files and get confusing so I am just going to compile results from research articles and the like

Tirzepatide like most others is an injectable FDA Approved peptide (US)

For those purchasing outside of the US Tirzepatide is allowed in most other major countries for weightloss including:

Zepbound/Mounjaro
US
Canada
Mounjaro (covers both diabetes and weightloss)
UK
Australia
Germany
France

If you're looking to purchase outside of these countries I really can't be stuffed looking at them all but I can tell you China and India have blocked zepbound along with a few african and south east asian nations blocking these drugs all together if you're looking specifically for weight loss

To attain Tirzepatide You will need a perscription which is attainable unless your doctors disallows the sale citing your body fat percentage or BMI usually if you walk into the doctors and your skinny you arent going to have any luck the general BMI from what I have seen is 26-27 or greater this being a flawed measurement I would say you're look at at least 22-23% BF or over to attain a perscription for the drug so legally attaining this would require you to be overweight in that sense

How Tirzepatide works

Tirzepatide is a dual agonist basically meaning that it mimics two naturally occuring hormones in the body that being GLP-1 and GIP (I put a little graphic for the special people) basically GLP-1 is your satiety hormone it reduces cravings for food it also slows down your gastric emptying which means that food stays in your stomach longer after eating it also stimulates insulin release and stabilizes glucose levels along with being an inhibitor the glucagon release GIP on the other hand are found within fat cells and work within your body to metabolize fats and improving insulin sensitivity it also regulates nausea counteracting side effects of increased GLP-1 production it also helps with your energy and the way in which energy is utilised within the body

Tirzepatide being a dual agonist is key to how it helps with hunger and gastric emptying but also the breaking down of fat cells with the use of GIP

Research and results have varied But I am going to compile it all down to some of the files I have attached

New England Journal of Medicine Results

The first list of results come from the New England Journal of medicine in 2022 this is targeted towards most who are generally looking towards weightloss and generally follows along the key lines of what we are looking for regarding the target audience of those reading this focusing on those who are over 18 but with a BMI of over 30 or 27 with weight related complications each participant was randomly assigned the a dose that being one of the four (placebo, 5mg, 10mg, 15mg)

Benefits

I have summarised the results excluding race based figures if you're looking for the source for this I will link at the end but basically a 5mg dosage showed significant results and in my opinion the best results out of them all a 15% mean weight loss for the limited dosage in comparison to the 10mg dosage showing a 19.5% and 15mg showing a 20.9% mean weight loss reduction gives a general example of what you would want to be taking to reach your specific goals

The blood pressure reduction shown for both systolic (7.2 mmHg reduction) and diastolic (4.8 mmHg reduction) blood pressure showing a reduction this in turn as I will point out for all of them will help against hypertension relieving mechanical stress from your arteries both of these are general health benefits relating to kidney, heart and brain function
Fasting insulin reduction improves your insulin sensitivity this means when your insulin is high cells are resisting insulin which means your pancreas produces more insulin with the reduction your body will process energy more efficiently meaning that your body will process its carbs more effectively

A triglyceride reduction is fat that is found within the blood high levels of this which is common in those with obesity result in the thickening of artery walls this means that your blood is going to have a harder time moving throughout your body the lowering by nearly 20% in comparison to the placebo shows a clear indicator that your blood flow will improve thus making exercise easier

Negatives

As with weight loss drugs if you are higher dosing your are going to lose more weight but when your body reduces weight quickly you general have the issue of it burning through muscle tissue as well and while this is over a generally long period I would seek caution if you are in a calorie deficit

These drugs slow down your gastric emptying this is why you would be receiving negatives such as vomitting, diarrhea or nausea and while there is benefits to the count of water retention your quality of life also matters

Rapid Weight loss can result in gallstones as your bile can be oversaturated with cholesterol leading to pain and the potential need for a gallbladder removal

Comparison to other drugs:

For clinical drugs (pharma approved)

most people researching these drugs show their apparent stupidity when it comes to dosage and believe that a lower dosage with similar results ultimately superior this is used in the case of comparing tirzepatide to semaglutide where semaglutide shows a lower dosage for similar results many forget that semaglutides max dosage guideline is 2.4mg exposing that they have never used these products based on effectiveness tirzepatide clears in large weight loss along with average weight loss with side effects also showing a significant reduction is with the case of nausea etc and recently ozempic semaglutide has been sued for causing cancer so take that as you will but both carry risks
Reta is something that I would like to point out as tirzepatide is inferior in may of the aspects I covered here and that's why many people use it s there go too however I would like to point out That while reta is better in ever category Reta isn't widely available and harder to attain the side effects are also similar but different Reta is still yet to be approved but is in the latter stage of trials currently showing different side effects such as skin sensitivity along with glucagon risks as reta is a triple agonist that means that it targets GLP-1 GIP but then also targets glucagon which manages blood sugar while not inherently a side effect Reta does result in a significantly higher high rate that comes with its heightened benefits

In conclusion you can go through this or reta I'll post something about reta when I get around to it but I would definitely check peoples personal experience with this and other drugs.
