Tirzepatide max dosage

Hello mesoRx !
I'm currently on tirzepatide 20mg once a week and no longer feel it. I can eat and think about food, even do cheat meals almost like I used to do. Weight is not going back. But I hate the food noise, my diet is becoming harder to maintain.
Should I increase the dose to 25 mg weekly? To be honest I kinda want to try if needed up to 30mg weekly.
What's your thoughts? Is there really risks? More than those that we know? Have someone tried those huge dosages?

Thanks

I would say if you think you need more than the normal max 15mg dosage, then you might want to start looking at other things vs just upping the dose. Every drug has diminishing returns.

First 24 weeks of 20mg and 25mg Eli Lily Tirz trials ended in December. for poor responders. They will continue to 80 weeks. If they had stopped the trial for safety concerns, it would have to be reported to FDA. As of now, 44 weeks in, trial is ongoing indicating no safety concerns that would have caused a stop.

If you really start losing ground, something else is probobly going on. Weight rebound is essentially unheard of on a stable dose of pharma Tirz during years of use after goal weight is achieved.
Anything about retatrutide over the "max" dose of i think its 12mg? Curious if the glucagon aspect of it would limit it or not. Or if it would provide even more benefit at over max dose

No way to know. The longer term impact of glucagon agonism isn't even fully understood at this point yet. It's paradoxical that the exogenous glucagon in Reta provides benefits, because naturally elevated levels over an extended period are associated with a number of metabolic problems. Two other glucagon agonizing weight loss drug studies were terminated because of signs they were harmful.
