Hmm.. it sounds high, but I never actually check it or even use a scale. I usually use the mirror and adjust based on how I’m looking.

I’m going to get an actual fat test done (although not completely accurate) to get a better idea
I measure a lot of people BF for a living. EVERY body esimates 2-10 percent to low. Olympic bodybuilders are in the sinlge digits. I am more cut then you and I am about 13 percent. I am trying to bulk.
 
Bf doesnt even matter though. All that matters is if your happy with what you look like in mirroer. BF is just a way to get an ide what someone looks like without a pic.

I usually don’t pay too much attention to the numbers. When I do, I start overthinking and adjusting too much. I’ll be keeping weight just for this log and to get an idea of profession. But the mirror, for sure, is what matters most. I think I have a pretty good plan to give a sort of recomposition, but the main plan is bulking.
 
I like rice and potatoes but not oatmeal for some reason. Unless it has that 1/2lb ball of maple and brown sugar in it!

You ever cut up half an apple and put it in with cinnamon and almond butter?! The apples turn soft and it’s like low calorie cobbler for breakfast.

Weighed in at 199.5lbs today.

Grilled on my new Kamado grill my wife got me for my bday. I’ll have more surprises over the weekend!

Almost a week down on my 2 week gym break. Played softball last night pain free for the first time in a long time. Still some slight knee discomfort, haven’t noticed much relief for the peptides as of yet. Most pain relief, I believe, is simply from not working out.
 
Alright guys, this is something I’ve been looking forward to starting. I just finished my cut of 2019 and I want to bring y’all on my journey for 2020.
What body wash or soap do you use?

A lot of the guys use dawn or head and shoulders with pyrithione zinc. I noticed you had a few spots, maybe try switching and see how it goes!

I’ve actually been planning on trying dawn. I use plain Ivory, but I’ve read the dawn secret. I know my wife said she tried it after I mentioned it one day and she said it took all the oil off her skin and hair and made everything soft. It makes sense since it takes oil off dishes well.

Honestly I feel anybody on cycle should use Dawn or H&S. It's the best hygiene product for that purpose and as bodybuilders we will get pimples. Comes with the turf!

Ya I will start using it and report back. My back is definitely the worst for breakouts.

Spent the day prepping chicken on the new kamado. I’ve never smoked before so I have a lot of practice ahead of me. Smoked around 225 degrees for about an hour and a half. Soaked in mustard and dry bbq rub (homemade). Had issues getting a steady temp at first, but the second and third batch were better. I’m open for any tips and tricks!

Weighed in at 198.9 this morning. Feeling great. Upped the calories this week.

Meal 1:
2 Eggs
8oz Egg Whites
40g Oats
100g Blueberries
Cinnamon

Meal 2:
7oz Chicken Breast
Veggies
1oz Walnuts

Meal 3:
6oz 91/9 Ground Sirloin
160g Brown Rice
Veggies

Meal 4:
7oz Chicken Breast
160g Brown Rice
Veggies

Meal 5 (picture below):
7oz Chicken Breast
160g Brown Rice
Veggies

Meal 6:
8oz Almond Milk
50g Protein Blend

This is heaven. Smoked chicken and grilled veggies with rice.

Getting antsy to get back to the gym. Second (and last) week off. I may do some 30-60 minute walks at the park after work with the wife this week.

I got fasted bloodwork this morning and it took 3 hours so I have a lot of eating to make up. I mixed my first two meals together and it worked perfect.

2 Eggs

Weight is sticking at 198lbs this week, which means I get to add more calories next week!:p
