The oil (and solvent, probably) will dissolve the stopper over time, and while doing so, it will contaminate your gear. There's a reason you don't use oil based lubricant with condoms.

I sure hope all your stoppers are quality material because all the oil touching the stoppers could be potentially harmful to you .especially if you have any super solvents in there I didn't really look too hard, it always best to store vials upright.
