The Genetic Health Panel for PED Users and Lifters

Hi Guys,

I spent some time building a document that enables you to gain insight into your genetic risk profile (specifically for bodybuilders). It's based on genetic variations (SNP's) and contains information about different types of risks and how to identify them. Also a lot more..

Some explanation for people who don't know what SNP's are:

A Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP, pronounced "snip") is a tiny variation in your DNA—just one letter difference in your genetic code. These small changes can influence how your body responds to hormones, metabolizes drugs, builds muscle, stores fat, or recovers from inflammation. For enhanced bodybuilders, certain SNPs may affect how you react to PEDs, manage cardiovascular risk, or optimize training and recovery strategies.

It's just a concept right now, built with the help of AI. But it could be a great tool for bodybuilders who want to engage in long term health risk mitigation strategies.
If you've already analyzed your DNA recently I'd advise to give promethease a try for the analysis. It's really awesome and it handles all types of dna documents really well.

Let me know if you think this was helpful and if we need more information like this in the bodybuilding community.

The most important information is not provided -- what is the source for risk interpretation.

For instance, rs2234693, you claim T means increased ER activity -- this information is not provided in snpedia. What is the source?

Alot of info from AI is junk needs to be fact checked multiple times.
I hope you're not just taking it off AI.
I have used promethease and would say it is not going to useful for most people.

Oops, I made a mistake with the links they are shifted down one row (Fix attached).

Sure you're right its a very rudimentary tool right now with likely some junk. It surely isn't perfect. The SNP's listed are mostly relevant and the links to the SNP pages are correct (SNPedia has the most accurate information).

I'm trying to find out what would be a good way to develop a tool that would be worth using in the future.

Sooo, does anyone have first hand experience at anonymously purchasing the test kits?

(Using services like this?)
