I try not to watch news and shit since its racially and politically biased but for fuck sakes could we please just napalm those fucking animals tearing up their own community over that dumb criminal kid getting shot?

18yr old 'boy' was like 6-4 280 and from what i decipher, tough shit he got himself shot.

I'm terribly sick of the reverse racism fucking card! It makes me feel like being racist. Someone please shoot that hate mongering ass clown Al Sharpton!

Go fist yourself Ferguson! Bunch of goddamn animals.
 
Honestly, what has me more worried is that our government used marshal law for this. If I remember correctly marshal law is only for war. Also why is it that when we the citizens want to see the video of police cars it just so happens that the car has no camera. This is pretty common... IMO what is going on is bigger than that kid that is died. I feel for the parents... But the real problem is IMO once gain that peer government has to much power. Using assault rifles on our own citizens. What happened to freedom of speech.
 
Yes government too much power, we shoulda just let them riot and burn down their own town. As former military AND security forces I do understand why they came in heavy, they literally burned down two buildings, its more about trying to overwhelm them to calm down than to actually do them any harm. Trust me, they are not the ones who want the altercations but the animals need to calm down at look at facts and stop being so hateful.
 
There are two sides to this story. Should they riot? No. Was he a criminal? Evidently he was a slim jim theif and hit a cop. I have hit cops, resisted arrest more than once. Should I have been shot and killed? Again- I am not saying anyone is right or wrong, but you only know what you know.

I am guessing you did not grow up in an inner city. I'm thinking lower middle class with republican parents. Thats all well and good, but just as your parents may have taught you about how to deal with anger constructively, how to have minimal trust for people who break the law- especially minorities their parents (if they were even around) taught them how to steal if they were hungry and there was no money (or their friends did) and how to disrespect and have no trust for someone in a positiin of authority. You only know what you know.

As @loveyourbody mentioned is the truly disturbing underlying issues- how quickly the government over responds to protest... looting was at a minimum - look at how fucking white people act at a sporting event! Jesus fucking christ- a bad ref call results in white riots- at least they riot over repression and death.

Calling them animals simply exacerbates a self fulfilling prophecy- I am white and I grew up with minorities... they are ignorant in some ways, but what outlet do they have? If there had been no riots there would be no story- do you realize that? The only way for a black person who got shot in a potentially irresponsible fashion to get in the news and get natiinal attentiin is to riot... I saw plentt of black people get shot and killed and it didn't even make the paper half the time.

Think before you say some shit like this- it just breeds more hate. I get what you are saying- but it aolves nothing by saying hateful things about other races and how they choose to deal with rage and loss and percieved persecution.
 
Yes they learn to steal when they are hungry but last time I checked stealing a box of cigars to roll blunts was not a necessity in life.

The militarization of our police force is necessary when the rioters are throwing Molotov cocktails and shooting guns at the police. The news complains about the cops using military weapons in Ferguson, well guess what now the military is there so what's the difference.

The rioting became more severe as a result of the inflamatory comments made my the Lt. General of Missouri calling for the prosecution of officer Wilson and the arrival of the racial agitators: Rev Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton spreading the message of white cops killing black men everyday in every town. The fact remains that of all murders committed in the USA, 91% are black on black violence. There are only about 400 fatal police shootings each year, mostly justifiable.
Last time I checked people in this country had the presumption of innocence until sufficient evidence to prove the contrary. The protesters are chanting "no justice, no peace" but they are not seeking justice they are a lynch mob seeking vengeance. It is appalling that elected public officials have forgotten the constitution of this country and would dare to comment on Officer Wilson's guilt without the completion of the investigation.
It has just come to light that officer Wilson has a fractured eye socket and many supporting witnesses corroborating his version of events. A great deal of force is required to break any portion of the skull, not just a simple punch in the face.
I would refer to the people in Ferguson as animals but all the people; black, white, yellow it doesn't matter. They are burning their own city to the ground. It's completely barbaric.
 
I can relate to Brutus's point, but my problem is when or if, the white officer is found that he was justified in the shooting. whether it be by court or grand jury. It''s the agitators that will continue to inflame the the situation. Facts will be ignored or twisted into another instance of oppression.
They cry for justice, but not the justice that doesn't meet their wants. What they want is vengence. It's a no win situation.
 
I don't care that the cop that shot the kid was white and he was black. I was raised in the higher end of the middle class. But, being latino I got to see both sides of the field. The news always puts the raise into everything. Just to get more views and higher ratings... Like I stated before our government is using to much force and why because we let them. I agree with arrest all the guys rioting and break shit by all means. But, most of the citizens where doing peaceful protesting. Why are they who have done nothing wrong and are American citizens. Being told to go home and while being aime down with assault rifles. Also when did we allow our own police to have almost military grade vehicles. The list goes on my friends, first the start talking our rights, speech, and weapons. I just cannot understand why people loot and riot over shit like this! I know that they are very angry over what happend but why in the fuck would you participate in destroying your own town over it (I know that not everyone doing the rioting is from that town but some are)? I'd be willing to bet that a lot of the businesses who were broken into, and looted or burned down won't be coming back to that town. I know I wouldn't, I'd take my insurance money and walk. Also, I can't imagine that there will be a line of people looking to open up shop where those businesses were.
Weather or not he deserved to be killed, I don't know. If he assaulted the cop and broke his orbital bone as has been reported, then maybe the cop was justified in shooting. Who knows how far the beating would have went. People also like to say, "why didn't he just shoot him once, or shoot him in the leg " I think they are trained to neutralize the threat, which in some situations, you may have the time and space to take a non lethal shot, but when someone is up close and personal, beating your ass, neutralizing him could take lethal force.
 
Look- I don't condone the shooting, I don't condone the looting. I know for a fact one punch can break an orbital socket. I have had my jaw broken three times and I have been incarcerated for the things one agressive physical act can produce.

These are all facts-
The cop could have tased the indivual and ended the threat. The taser is on their hip and is as equally accessible as their firearm.
It takes one person to start looting and a few opportunists to make the situation worse. This hardly is indicative of the majority of those protesting or the black population in general.
The government should have no right to point military firearms at innocent protesting people and tell them to go home.
If the local population had not looted and protested the news and therefore the american population wouldn't have known or cared.
The force used was excessive and unnecessary - nobody should die for throwing a punch.
STOP FOCUSING ON A FEW LOOTERS AND LOOK AT HOW THE NEWS IS BASICALLY RATIONALIZING THE REMOVAL OF BASIC FREEDOMS BY THE MILITARY BECAUSE OF IT.
This isn't about looting. This isn't about reverse racism. Its about the media sensationalized reaction to a repressed population and their reaction to a piece of shit cop who shot when he should have tased. It becomes racist when people focus on what a couple dozen bad apples did in the cacophony and saying it is the african americans and their sub human behavior. There is just as much white trash who would steal sneakers and tvs in the same situation.

I appreciate your sentiments however, the curfew was to protect the innocent, peaceful protestors from the recourse of the few violent individuals. being in the same vicinity of persons lobbing molotov cocktails is a receipe for disaster.
As far as, military vehicles, really? Did you see any tanks or howies? Surplus armored vehicles are needed in large cities as the populace has the propensity to be heavily armed with assault weapons. I am one of those people, but they are mine as they have part of my life and not for criminal activity.
Take a couple deep breaths, your thoughts are true, but a bit over zealous.

I maybe a bit out there I'm my thoughts about the vehicles our police have. But, my family came over here from a 2nd world country where the government rules and the police and military are bullies that abuse their power. I usually go once or twice a year. I myself like America I god damn love it. I don't want it to turn into the same country that my family left I order for me to have a better future. It saddens me when my father tells me this is what our government did slowly took over. Why are the American people letting them.
I guess maybe when you always have it you don't notice it or take it for granted. But, when you see what can happen you want to do your best to avoid it.

IMO, everyone is making all kinds of assumptions without having all the facts. We get our information from the news stations, newspapers and taking heads. None of us can really make a totally informed conclusion on this matter because we were not there and if you trust the press any more than you trust your government then, sadly, my friend, I have some prime real estate in south Florida at a steal.

I don't have a clue how it went down, but have been in some tight spots in my life where my training to a threat has allowed me to be here today. I understand the passions something like this evokes, but until all is known I am going to reserve judgement on either party.
