Tennis elbow!

I have found keeping the wrist in a neutral position when doing movements including bench press, tricep pressdowns etc. Helped in eliviating tennis and pitchers elbow.

I did hear that. Haven't tried that . I just use an ace elbow strap that holds the tendon that on top of the forearm and I tighten that thing up as much as I can then loosen it up when I get too much blood flow during the workout . It's the most annoying thing I've ever experienced

I dealt with a lagging tennis elbow issue by running a few vials of tb500/bpc157. I would inject 1mg of each every night before bed. There was almost overnight relief from the first night. Took about 2 weeks and it's been fine since. Might give it a go!
Glad it worked for you. It didn't make difference for me. I got a cortisone shot that slightly helped for a few weeks. Currently using the theraband and ice. Also threw in a tens unit and red light therapy. Still pretty bad. May add the tb/bpc back in. Shit is brutal.

I am never sure about using torniquet's' to hold things in place works as far as ergonomically correct muscle movement and long term muscle health.development.

I've also found relief with a percussive massage gun with the hard plastic attachment and digging into the forearm with it. Sucks it didn't help bro, hope you can find some relief soon!

Best thing I ever incorporated into my preventative maintenance routine was using a hammer and rotating it slowly left to right while holding it by the bottom of the handle and holding it out in front of you “ like if you were holding a torch” and going slowly left to right, stopping at the end of each rotation. This worked for both tennis elbow and golfers elbow. I first started with a 16oz hammer and was almost in tears on my injured arm but with time I went from a 16 oz hammer to a 20 ounce, then to a small mallet ( about 35-40 oz). I would force myself to do this at work, about 4 times a day. It took about 2 weeks till i was pain free. Now i will do it about once a day just to keep pain free. I think it strengthens the tendons kind of like all the rotator cuff exercises we do for shoulders. Same principle, go slow and think about the tendons and joint doing the work, not the muscles. Also: take your time in increasing the size of the hammer, it’s more about the movement than the weight. I hope this helps some. Bob

Have you tried taking time off? Anecdotally, until I stopped doing everything that put stress on the elbows, which is a lot more movements than I thought it'd be, it never went away. Switching from preacher curls to the traditional standing curls helped quite a bit as well.

Shit sucks though. You can have it 80% healed, and as soon as you do one thing that aggravates it, it's like you lose all progress.

So true. I shut everything down for two weeks. Doc had me in a brace during that time to isolate the wrist. Felt like it was almost gone. Got back to training and within a few days it was back. Now I am just saying screw it and dealing with it.

I know some folks praise BPC and TB but man I can't say I was getting anything from it. Pinned bpc for months up to 1mg twice a day at the site. Finally got tired of all the pinning and money and dropped it.

True. It’s always good to know what it is that’s causing the issue. For me straight bar press downs have a tendency to flare up my tennis elbow and low pulley rows with a close grip will aggravate golfers elbow. I also widened up my grip on close grip bench, i used to have thumbs touching but I have learned it’s not necessary to go that close.

I did take a while month off and I feel like it actually got worse

I have struggled with this throughout the years. It comes and goes it sucks for sure. I have to work around it in training and not do things that aggravate it. I also warm up the elbows for like 15 mins with cables before every exercise. I don’t have a lot of information to help unfortunately as I am also wishing I knew more about how to stop it. I do know what I use this horse joint medicine every day I workout before the workout to warm the elbows. Hope this helps you a little as well. I think it does help some.
