My Endo mentioned something about a new testosterone gum do you know anything about it.SWALE said:IMPO, the testsosterone pellets are a barbaric form of TRT. They pose many problems, including the risks posed by ALL surgical interventions (infection and hemorrhage), make you quite sore (needlessly) and are extremely difficult to dose. The advantages of the pellets are that you can pretty much forget about your TRT for few months, and they release the T into your bloodstream at such a steady rate that accelerations in aromatase activity are largely avoided.
Also, Testim is vastly inferior to Androgel. The same amount of gel provides much less serum testosterone than does the Androgel product. I am hearing stories of Auxium representatives grossly misrepresenting their product, but I have read their package insert thoroughly. I probably need to disclose that I am sponsored by Solvay Pharmaceuticals, but everyone knows I tell it like it is (no matter what).
I prefer to maintain E2 at around 35 (<50).
mxim--I do not remember ever saying that certain anti-E's are innapppropriate during TRT. Can you be a little more specific, please?
