swale could i ask you hypothetically if a patient approached you having used steroids showed hypogonadal symptoms even after using post cycle therapy (nolvodex and/or clomid) and this was confirmed(hypogonadal) with blood tests what you would do to treat them?
why i ask is as most bodybuilders purchase their drugs on the black market and you could not guarantee they had in fact used genuine pct meds do you have them commence a cycle of your own pct to confirm they are truely hypogonadal before pursuing TRT?

if you have your own pct protocol could you please post it.

as we all know TRT is for life and no one wants to commence with a treatment unless they truely have no alternative but to.
yes everyone wants to feel better asap but i was just wondering before having someone going on a lifetime of therapy if you had them exhaust all other avenues and if this was the case what you would have them do before accepting they had no alternative but to commence with trt.

I'm not Swale, but I was just wondering about something. Several years ago, the magazine Muscle Media 2000 was making a change in format from "hard core" to more mainstream bodybuilding. At one point they published an article on how to get off steriods, and more importantly, how to determine which biological function (testes, pituitary, etc) was hindering normal testosterone function. The article was written by an MD named Mario DiPasquale. The first part of this article is what they published - up to the section What to Use, where he starts pushing his own OTC product. Anyway, I was wondering if everything up to the What to Use section was sound science, and if so, would it be helpful to bros seeking to kick start their own T production? Swale? Whaddaya think?

Have you tried pct with hcg? THere is is a study out there that actualy restored fertility using an hacg protocol. If your doc knows you use drugs, you might want to show him the research article.

Exact treatment is extremely patient-specific.

However, I usually try to restart the HPTA. Only after all has failed do we initiate TRT. Sometimes it is just a trial-of-therapy, as short term (a few months) of TRT has gotten some guys going again. It all depends upon the specific case.
