a friend of mine just came back from his urologist due to low T levels. the urologist is having him do hcg,500 iu 3x per week for 2 weeks. he said that although hcg suppresses natural testosterone,it can sometimes jump start the system. we all know that a few shots of hcg will booste T levels but he syas it can actually jump start them again. have you ever heard of this?
my friend has been off AAS for a year and a half.

swale could you elaborate on using hcg to RESTART a suppressed hpta.
i was of the opinion that hcg merely mimicked LH and was in fact further suppressive to an already suppressed HPTA.
from your post you appear to say you have witnessed a patient with hypogonadal symptoms "jump starting" his endogenous testosterone production with hcg therapy.you recommended hcg(250 iu?) could you confirm frequency and duration of therapy and also was nolvodex and/or clomid used in combination and again dosage, frequency and duration.
