Swai - Vietnamese Catfish

Hello everyone. Trying to get nice and shredded. Ultimate goal is to have a road map of veins that, no matter where they start, they all lead to my disco stick.
So I jumped on keto, on and off, for about a month.
Now, first off I feel great on keto. Energetic and strong in the gym.

Two of my favorite meats - ground turkey and swai. Most people have never of swai, so here's some background.
Swai is a catfish from southeast Asia that reproduce like crazy and flood the MeKong valley in Vietnam.
Since these fish are in such a huge abundance they are able to be sold cheaper than a dime store whore, which drastically changed the fish market in America.

SO, in 2003, the fish farmers of America complained to Congress about how unfair and unAmerican this was, since most their farm raised American catfish weren't selling anymore, and they got it outlawed to sell any of the 3,000 other known types of catfish in the American market. This made it so only American farm-raised catfish could be marketed and sold as "catfish"

As history would have it, Vietnam won again by simply renaming their catfish as swai and throwing it back on the market. 2-0 there.

Now, reason I wrote this is because A.) I like swai. And B.) A not so educated man (his name rhymes with gylan demelli) told me it was unhealthy for me.
This false advice was also given to me after telling me to eat 1 and a half cups of oats first thing in the AM or right before bed on a keto diet.
Mmmyyeeaaahokay.... sorry to dwell on a personal point there, but in all seriousness, has there actually been any legitimate proof showing that swai is less healthy than any other fish on the market?

Thank you.

Yeah honestly I would not have heard of it either if the price tag didn't catch my eye. It's $6 for 6 fillets, 25g protein 9g fat.

Swai is cheap and tasty. It's a fish farmed in Asia, however. So is tilapia mostly, no worse for you than that.

Having seen them in person, my biggest complaint is that they build chicken coops and toilets over the ponds. More food and all. Those were tilapia though, don't know what they do with swai. Probably similar. Realistically though, that's just nature.

Just Google it. It's the same old fish arguments as everything else. Which usually equates to "eat more fish", barring certain apex predators lacking in selenium. I don't even eat them every week, but when I do, they're cheap and enjoyable. A little chicken shit never hurt you, you eat it all the time with your scrambled eggs.

I wouldn't make ceviche with them though. . .

I buy that from time to time instead of tilapia, pretty good. Nothing fancy,of course, but just fine for getting your protein fix.

Very good. I'll keep eating it until it kills me. And then maybe a few days after.
D-Ballin - well said. Good for the immune system, or at least that's what my platoon Sgt told us when we burnt our shit trench.

Well fish isn't exactly grown and harvested like corn. I don't have any qualms with Vietnam, that was long before my era. But anything that comes out of trashganistan on the other hand... wouldn't touch it with my dead uncles dick, and he did a lot of weird things....

I hear ya, I don't forgive or forget . ever .

I say we reopen Vietnam, privately funded, so we can use 7.62 on soft targets and hollow points without being slammed with the Geneva Convention.
It's been a while since I've let out a sustained burst from a .50 yelling I'M A PRETTY PRINCESS.
Why is the sky blue?
Cuz god loves the infantry.
