This might sound like a silly question, but since I really do enjoy sushi quite a lot and like to have soy and wasabi with it, I thought I'd ask if there are estrogen related issues with having too much soy.
Essentially, what I was told by a bodybuilder several years ago was to avoid anything soy related, or I may as well just cut my nutsacks off. Those were his words, and they kind of stuck with me though I didn't know much about gear at that time. Does anyone know if soy somehow directly converts to a form of estrogen, or is it that it facilitates Aromatization that naturally occurs. I should have no problems having soy while I am on an AI, if its only affecting natural Aromatization.
Just fyi, I've been mostly using coconut based soy alternatives, with low sodium. Taste even better, but I am not bringing a bottle of coconut soy around with me in case I end up eating sushi at some point of the day [with colleagues].
