First and foremost I wanna thank Ren for his awesome log which got me absolutely pumped to start my first cycle, as well as providing tons of useful info and tips. Hopefully, my cycle will look something like his. More recently I've been following Hat's thread and drawing inspiration from his hard work. Anyway, I just wanted to say that the info from those two threads, and in all the super knowledgeable folks on the board has really helped me to plan out my first cycle properly. Ok, here we go.

stats when i started out last Monday (6/22):
22
5' 10"
172
12% bf (not really certain)

As for the cycle itself:
Week 1-10 Test E 500mg/wk
Week 1-4 Dbol 25mg/ed
IF my HCG ever arrives THEN Week 4-10 HCG 500iu/wk
and for PCT
Week 11-13: Nolvadex 20mg/day
Week 14-16: Nolvadex 10mg/day

Diet
My diet is on point. 8 meals a day at roughly 6,500 calories. I'm going to try and hit 7,000 but it's taking some getting used to as that much food is tough to eat. Hopefully I do get what Ren describes as "the hunger".

Sample diet:
Meal 1: Shake with 8oz milk and frozen fruit, 4 egg whites, peanut butter sandwich
Meal 2: 5oz can of tuna and 1/2 cup oatmeal
Meal 3: Massive turkey sandwich, orange, 1 cup almonds
Gym
Meal 4: Shake, peanutbutter sandwich, apple, 5oz can of tuna
Meal 5: 1 cup whole wheat with a ton of turkey, shrimp or chicken
Meal 6: 5oz can of tuna and 1/2 cup oatmeal OR turkey sandwich
Meal 7: big Chicken salad with 1 cup almonds
Meal 8: Shake w/ 8oz milk, piece of bread with peanut butter

I'm going to end the post here but in my next update ill recap days 1-5

Days 1-4

Day 1 - Monday 6/22
Popped my dbols, arimidex (.5mg) and pinned right glute in the AM before gym. Went smooth. Phreezer's guide was a big help. I'm using 22g @ 1.5". Gym was good, lifted chest/tris and felt focused and on point. Eating Oh, did I mention I'm fucking excited to get this shit goin!

Day 2
Woke up this morning feeling fucking great. My right glute was a little stiff but other than that it was fine. Smashed on weight after breakfeast and then ate like a beast throughout the day at work.

Day 3
I stepped on the scale and I was up to 176. SICK! I'm impressed that the dbol works this fast. Hopefully I'll be able to keep some of this weight after my cycle but for right now I'm loving the HUGE pumps. I went on a beach run today and I got the lower bank pump that Hat was talking about. It made the run really annoying but i pushed through it and finished my run. Eating was right on.

Day 4

Checked the scale this morning and I was in at 178! 2 lbs in a day is unbelievable. I'd worked for months eating 5,000 cals a day and I would only put on a pound or 2. my excitement from reading the scale helped me fight through my legs workout at the gym. I've just picked up on ass-to-ground squats and they really helped my knees. Pinned smoothly at 9pm and hit the sack for some sleep.

Excellent Bro.... I'll be following for sure. I've gotta run out the door right now... LEGS BABY!! I'll check back in here tonight... Great to see you putting a log up!!

I guess I'm a day late but oh well. here goes.

Day 5 (yesterday)
I never thought a rest day could be some terrible. All i wanted to do all day was hit the gym and rip on some weight. Instead, i decided to bbq and eat my face off, healthily of course. All in all, I ate well and rested well.

Day 6
Just got back from the beach as the weather here in santa cruz is amazing. 70F by 10am...good stuff. Hit the gym and did chest/tris. The pumps from these dbols are unreal! After hitting doing seated dips i thought my arms were going to pop. Not only were the pumps sick but my chest felt way stronger doing incline and flyes. can't believe how much progress I'm already making. One question though, im only doing 3 sets for each muscle group so 3 for chest and 3 for triceps. Is this enough or should i be adding in another set for each group?

Time for steak and potatoes cause I've got "the hunger". Ren, you were dead on man, i'm hungry nearly every 1.5 hours.

Chest/Tri
Flat dumbell bench 4 sets @ 10x8x8x6
Incline dumbell bench 4 sets @ 10x8x8x6
dumbell flyes 4 sets @ 10x8x8x6

Bench Dips 4 sets @ 10x8x8x6
Overhead extensions 4 sets @ 10x8x8x6
Pushdowns 4 sets @ 10x8x8x6

Day 7+8

Shit on my end has been hectic recently so updates might be less frequent. Appetite is steadily increasing but my weight has levelled out and im currently sitting at 178. the pumps keep getting bigger though so i have nothing to complain about. I pinned day 8, Monday, and it all went cleanly. I'm definitely noticing increased vascularity especially in my forearms, biceps and shoulders. Veins poppin out in places where a month ago i couldn't see em. I'm lovin the progress and each day gets me more amped for the next

Oh, i almost forgot this funny story. So summer school just started and the gym is starting to get packed with cuties, (and also lames who don't know what they are doing), anyway i literally had this one girl follow me around the gym for my entire workout. She thought she was being stealthy but every time i moved from one exercise to the next she would conveniently end up right next to me. Hopefully i'll have what Renegade called AMD day at the gym...maybe week 3 when the Test starts to kick in?

hahaha fuck yeah, later meso

Good stuff bro, I'll def be following! Try and break out of the 3 set mentality though, you'll bust through plateaus that way. Your diet looks on point, eating that much can take getting used to but as soon as the text kicks in youll find that it wont be a problem. HAHA I should trademark "AMD". It'll happen but i would put that at about week 5....however I'm sure the Dbol has you feeling super pumped!

Yup, its Arnold kicking ass in Commando. Ren, I have a question about the "3 set mentaility" do you mean I should add more exercises per muscle group or should i try and hit each muscle group with more sets?

Both my man!

ex: chest

Flat bench - 5 sets
Incline bench - 3 sets
Decline bench - 3 sets
Cable Flies - 5 sets

Also, I like to switch between dumbbells and barbells every week.

I do something similar to this on mondays and thursdays, but thats just because I have to take off friday and saturday due to work. Give this a shot for 2 chest workouts and see if you like it. Ideally you want at least a 2 day minimum between workouts like this. Dont be afraid to add more variants depending on how your feeling....your on gear now so make the most of it. This should help bust through some plateaus as well.

Thanks for the tip, Ren! I'm going to be sure and add an extra exercise per muscle group to my workouts. I'm thinking about going 4 exercises at 4 sets each that way i can get in around 16 sets per group. I'm working 10x8x8x6 for upper body and 15x12x10x8 for lower body. Renegade what did your rep count look like?

UPDATE -Day 11-

This shit is awesome! I just did chest/tri and, as per Ren's advice, added decline DBs and upped the total # of sets per exercise. Great advice Ren, my workout was awesome. I also tried switching from DB bench to BB and i noticed a huge improvement from the last time i did BB bench. Fuck yeah! I'm going to start switching every week. My workout got me pumped for my 4th shot which is going to be tonight and even more excited from back/bi tomorrow. Thanks again Ren.

No problem bro, just stay focused. When your hitting the major muscle groups dont be afraid to throw in another one or two excercises and some reps, lift until you feel good n satisfied. As far as my rep count....it's all over the place...depends on how Im feeling at the current moment and the weight I feel like working with. Are you hitting your target caloric intake / and just curious have you gotten hungrier?

Nice to see you coming along bro... Like our friend Renegade, my rep count varies from day to day, but I never leave without knowing I've put in some work. I've been doing alot of intense drop sets lately, and I've been getting some hellacious pumps and really starting to notice a difference in my overall definition. I also have an awesome workout partner who pushes me into failure, (and helps me through it), on nearly every set. It seems to me that your body gets used to the same old routine week after week, and it's good to change it up every now and then. It's been working for me anyway.... Keep up the hard work man..;)

Iron, before you start your cycle make sure to:

1. Eat and train BIG
2. Do your reading. I spent a long time. Probably two or three months reading day in and day out about roids, training, nutrition etc.
3. Start a thread and start getting to know folks here on Meso cause these guys are hands down some of the most knowledgeable folks around

as for my log, i'll try and drop an update later tonight while i recover from all the delicious food im about to chow down on for the 4th of july

Yo Ren, I'm starting to get hungrier. If I see food or hear people talk about food, im instantly hungry. Shit, it seems like im hungry all the time.

Here's a quick update. I did major work on fourth of july. Honestly, I don't think i've ever had that much food in one day. 2 steaks, 2 burgers, 4 pieces of chicken, 2 cans of tuna, tons of grilled veggies god damn, i thought i was going to go into a food coma @ around 9pm [:o)]. Legs today though so im not as excited about that.

My caloric intake is good as i'm hitting between 5,000 and 5,500 a day. Ideally i'd like to be taking in around 6,000 to 7,000 calories.
