sterilizing multiple vials easy and fast. Any tips?

Someone already said this, but Ill say it again, that procedure doesn't sterilize anything..You're clearly an idiot. You need heat (270F) and steam(humidity)..

Bathe the vials in alcohol? lmao.. 120C isn't hot enough either.. Try again!
How would soaking your glass in rubbing alcohol not sterilize it?

Did someone piss on your coffee?

You need heat. You don't need humidity. That's why dry heat sterilization exists. Heat is achieved by the oven 2h @170 Celsius is more than enough.

But you choose to call me an idiot. I could tell you to go f your sister like a redneck pos that you are, but I am not going to do that.

No shit you need heat. Didn't I already say that? lol..
But Ya you're a fucking idiot. You use a steam oven at 270 degrees at 100% humidity, for 20-25min. Then you use dry heat for 30min at 270 degrees..
No need to use alcohol..

But I am going to tell you to go fuck yourself 6x, and you're a piece of shit too. Carry on master brewer..

Sure buddy. Carry on.

I do know, that's why I prefer sealed depyrogenated vials myself for the past 15 years that I homebrew.
I've tried this but my vials come out moist if I was to put them in one of those pre shield bags you're talking about or a mushroom bag with a filter would it help them dry out after starlization? Thank you in advance.

Nah you misunderstood me. I purchase presterilized vials. I don't sterilize them myself

1- I put everything in a pan with boiling water, corks and bottles and then I bathe them in 90% alcohol. I've been doing this for over 5 years and I've never had an infection.

Looks like panda lists them on their site. Ready to fill pre sterilized with silicone stoppers (fuck yeah) and caps $50 for 100 vials. Us domestic.

While I totally get doing it yourself, I feel more comfortable doing it this way. I don't want to stand around forever with needle filters and this is grab and go (under a flow hood ofc).

Shit I don't know if it's legal or not but if it is legal I'll give you 200 sterilized vials with silicone Stoppers for $80 no problem.

Don't want to be a dick but that won't sterilize anything.
The vials would be more close to sterile if he just got clinically clean vials and just filled them up than doing what you just suggested.

You need an autoclave to sterilize the vials. Heat + moisture + pressure.
you do not need an autoclave to sterilize. dry heat sterilization is an accepted method of sterilization. all an autoclave does is use pressure to allow water to boil at a lower temperature, and the resulting steam is the method of sterilization. which allows the process to be done faster and at lower temps.

if you read his post he also referenced using an autoclave or pressure cooker. not really anyone here brewing actually sterilizes there vials. unless your using an autoclave with autoclave pouches, and you open the pouches in a positive pressure filtered environment your vials are not sterile. the second you open whatever you use for heating the vials the vials are no longer sterile. nobody ever mentions using autoclave pouches so there vials remain sterile when removing them from the autoclave.

Yes I mean pharmaceutically speaking they're not sterilie as soon as you open the bag but as long as it's in a halfway clean environment it would be just fine. You are right about dry heat sterilization being completely acceptable but as far as the autoclave goes, it is not faster unless the autoclave has a drying function on it which is going to run you an extra $1,000 at least on any autoclave you buy. Even if you put them in bags there's going to be moisture inside the vials when it comes out of the autoclave at least from my experience of trying it 50 times probably but if anyone has a way to do it I'd be happy to hear.

I use a pressure cooker and bags, have zero condensation in the bags, made my own process using techniques from when I was growing mushrooms

Thank you very much for this information brother as I said before if someone was willing to tell me a better way I'm always willing to listen even after growing for well over 10 years you can always learn. Can you do me a huge favor and maybe post a link to those bags as I know some of the bags have a .22um micron filter in the side of them? Also the largest bags you can find would be best because it works for glass vials that tells me it also works for media bottles and all other glassware. Thank you sir.

You don't need to sterilise your glassware, and media bottle shouldn't need a bag, just loosen the cap, cover the cap in tinfoil, throw it in the bucket and tighten the cap upon opening the bucket.
I'm not in the US so linking the site I buy my autoclave bags from won't be helpful to you.
