sterilizing multiple vials easy and fast. Any tips?

TThat's cool brother i understand. Here's some pictures of the autoclave bags and the mushroom bags with the filters which I was told to use. Can you let me know which ones I should use please? Thanks again bro..

Yeah both should work fine, the mushroom bags I'm not so sure about, it'd definitely be experimental, I'd be concerned about moisture in the bag, the good thing with the autoclave bags is they have a paper backing, so some moisture wicking capabilities.
I've used the mushroom bags for growing mushrooms so have some experience with them, make sure they don't touch the sides of the autoclave/pressure cooker as they can melt, and you have to seal them after the cycle, fold the tops over multiple times to create a pseudo seal then when you remove the bags either use a bag sealer or zip ties to seal, preferably in front of a flow hood, but it's not mushrooms so sterility isn't a massive concern.
If you seal the bags before the pressure cooker they will expand and split.

Any guys around here who sterilize their own vials but like 30 or maybe even more at once, what is your proces to make it fast and easy?

I have been homebrewing some time now. Have a bottle top filter setup that saves me tons of time and makes it possible to filter 250ml/500ml at once. But now the vials is still a pain in the ass. I tried cleaning them myself, 20 at a time. Bath of soap, clean them with a new toothbrush inside and out, wash them with water. Then clean with toothbrush again in a bath of 70% alcohol and last step is to put aluminum foil on top and place them in the oven. This way I get clear vials.

But this was getting boring, people told me on this forum to buy pre sterilized instead. So these vials will be delivered empty and crimped. This means i have to cut or destroy the crimped cap (and this is a hassle on itself already) and it will also leave some aluminum particles/small pieces that I dont wanna risk getting injected. Other solution would be to leave it as is, just flip the cap of and inject into the vial. But this way you can see the vial has been opened and if I had to give it to a friend this just looks weird.

Maybe I should try just throwing 30 pieces in a pan, boil it. Then throw them all in a bath of isopropyl 70% alcohol and into the oven. Or do you guys have any better ideas?
Hot soapy water then rinse thoroughly. 2 rinses with distilled water. Steam with baby bottle steamer. Place in dedicated counter top oven at 300 for 15 mins. Let oven cool on it’s own. Remove vials and vacuum seal

In My opinion a simple way to sterilize is with the pressure cooker (PC), as drugsarefun stated. I also got the knowledge from growing culinary mushrooms.

I would use mushroom bags with a .5 micron filter (Amazon), put everything I want to sterilize inside (stoppers and vials, plus whatever else I want to sterilize in a separate bag). Fold the bag and place inside PC, with a piece of tape holding the bag shut. run the pressure cooker at 15 psi for two hours, allow to cool inside the cooker. Seal the bags until ready to use. You can actually place the stoppers on the vials while still in the bag, crimp once you’ve taken them out, and fill with oils after crimping.

the shroomery is a great forum to learn about sterilization and technique for keeping things sterile.

ya this "oven drying" is a little wacky, while IF sealed/covered from a PC its fine but it sounds like guys are tossing sterile viles form a PC into a home unsterile oven that moves air from outside that is dirty. prob better off drying in a still air box than oven.

also seems like folks assume distilled water is sterile.. its not the second u open it in open air.

the only thing alcohol does is get any residues off if rinse in open air as just filled right back up with dirty air.

I cant see sterilizing vials being safe unless an autoclave
