sterilisation of first home brew

for some reason I'm getting paranoid about my first batch but i kinda feel like i did it right. Ok i used 2% BA , 20% BB and GSO for 100ml test E 275mg/ml, after mixing it at a low heat until there was no swirls etc. I put it thru a sterile .22 syringe filter into pre sterile vials. now when i pressured cooked them the pressure gauge on my cooker went to 14psi for some reason the little regulator on top wouldn't let it go above 14psi.. so i know this sounds stupid but will that 1psi make a hell of difference? or am i over thinking it and the syringe/BA would have taken care of things anyway.. sorry for silly questions trying to put my mind at ease :)

If you filtered through a whatman .22 into a sealed sterile vial with at least 2% BA you are clean, nothing to worry about.

How dd you come up with your recipe? You can brew the Test E with minimal BB, or none to be exact. Stressing is good, it matters to you and thats a good thing.

hey mate, was just a recipe recommended to me on another site and i seen quite a few ppl using 18/20% BB so i thought i would keep it simple my first time around.

yeh i guess your rite theres nothing wrong with stressing :)

If you want to be extra sure, get a piece of metal mesh screen (like window screen...it just needs to have a small enough mesh so your bottles don't slip through). You then cover the drain of your toilet with it. Next, carefully place your bottles in the toilet. Finally, flush two orthree times to give them a good rinse. This is the preferred method for most labs in the underground section. ;)

I wouldn't worry about anything. It looks like you've done your homework.

No problem mate, just making a suggestion for a future tweak. You dont need the BB even at that ratio, although it helps a bit as a solubilty enhancer, other than that it's just extra chemicals being injected.

Cheers.
