Lol, old ass thread! I don’t take any vitamins but between my pre and post workout drinks I get everything I want. Proper dosing and full label disclosure..
 
enjoyed the orgianl post here and a few other replies. very sure the supplements industry is making a shiit load off followers. I myself use to follow the cows as well daily in fact i admittitly use to spend 300 cdn on supplements - protein powders, creatine, multis and bccaas.
One day I decided to read more into good foods and understand the break downs of foods and the fuels we get from each food group etc.
most people simply don't understand the difference of a carb and complex carbohydrate when for most people not fine tuned lifters etc.. there's no difference.. a carb is a carb..
I grew up with Mom always having dinner on table by 5pm and it was always meat potatoes, veg (note double carbs here veg and potato)
all my life I eat like that until 7 years ago when I started meal planning and meal prep.
Theses days on Sundays I make 52 meals for the week and store one 2nd fridge. This stops me from stopping to grab a bit to eat as I've not excuse.
My typical weeks meals consist of meat and a veg.
supplements are 5htp, zma, and melatonin and only for sleeping.

total costs about 25.00 month
