Sperm analysis shows no sperm, TRT for 3 years

I had a pre-vasectomy consultation and I spoke with the doc and told her I was curious about whether or not I was shooting blanks due to being on TRT for 3 years. She agreed to a pre-vasectomy sperm analysis.
After the consultation, it's like 2 months to the appt and then 2 months of shooting loads before your sterile. That's a long time blowing loads, so wanted to make sure of no buzzer babies.

No sperm detected.

For what it is worth the more times you ejaculate after the surgery the sooner you clean out what ever sperm may be left in the tubes. When i had mine 20 years ago they would have you cum back in 6 weeks after the procedure to check you out to be sure. Which means that all the tubes were probably clear weeks before then as Dr.s aren't going to have you if it is close. The life span of a sperm is only like 5 days so after the tubes are tied a couple weeks would probably give a guy a 99.99% chance he wont be a father. Not sure why more guys don't have it done once they are sure they don't want to take the chance any more. I had the no scalpel surgery not sure if there is anything more modern. as it was a 5 minute pain free procedure.
