@sp5der I think there’s a bit of misunderstanding happening here, mostly because people jump into the thread without reading the full history. They catch a handful of recent posts, miss the context, and then feel compelled to throw in commentary that doesn’t really reflect what’s been said over the last 30+ pages.
This was already stated days ago (and way back in the thread), but I’ll say it again plainly...most of us want to see you do well, stick around longterm, and continue what you’re building. Not because of blind loyalty, but because you’re clearly doing something different, and doing it right. Another vendor even picked up on that and basically said, “he’s onto something.” That alone says a lot.
This isn’t “dick-sucking” or blind praise like
@Turkeybuilder suggested. It’s acknowledging when someone is going above and beyond. I do understand how that perception can form, and I respect the perspective. Giving credit where it’s earned isn’t the same and you deserve it dude.
If anyone goes back and reads my earlier post about market trends between corporate and boutique models, the core point is simple, your time is the biggest cost, and only you get to decide what that’s worth. This clearly seems like something you enjoy doing, and as customers we benefit from, you should benefit too.
Your pricing is already extremely fair. I don’t see people complaining about it in the way. The only real concern I’ve seen, and the one I personally share is about your wellbeing and sustainability at those prices. You've said your good so that ends it.
Honestly, my biggest concern isn’t that customers won’t buy at elevated prices, it’s the opposite. At these prices, someone eventually bulk buys, relabels, and flips. That’s usually what happens when quality is high and margins are razor thin. That’s not criticism of you at all, just something people who want to see you protected are thinking about.
Bottom line this isn’t about pushing you to raise prices or change direction. It’s about making sure you’re still here, still enjoying it, and not getting burned out by the very thing you built so well. I've got nothing else so much love killa for what you're doing. Merry Christmas. Now hurry the fuck up father time, I've got an order to place. Hahah
