Hi all,

Just thought I'd start a thread to discuss the Euros which is currently going on.

Who do you think will win it?

Personally, I think it's going to be a Germany v Belgium final with Germany edging it!
 
Wouldn't like to say who'll take the trophy, but I'm hoping England will do the unlikely & knock the Germans out on Tuesday.

Must say I'm surprised at the lack of European input into this thread.

Most Welshmen would want England to lose on Tuesday, but I'm definitely supporting England. Let's hope they can go far. Wales were poor today, didn't deserve anything from the game. Italy were very lucky this evening too!
 
Gutted

Absolutely hate it when it goes to a penalty shoot out. Just isn't football IMO, should be sudden death extra time.

To be fair Italy played brilliantly in the second half, but they also played really dirty - e.g. Saka being literally dragged to the floor by his shirt & the ref let an awful lot of Italian fouls go unchallenged & IMHO England should have had a penalty shot after Sterling was brought down inside the box.

Kinda surprised at a Yank liking football actually! I remember when you hosted the World Cup in '94 & Brit journalists asking Americans on the street if they knew what the World Cup was & no one had a clue!

Pretty much the rest of the world outside of North America goes mental for it though.
