Sleep tracker recommendations

I’m curious if anyone has used any of the sleep trackers to monitor their sleep, and if so how did you like it? I was looking at the Oura ring (I think I spelt it right) but I didn’t want to spend $300+ on something if there was something cheaper that was better, or just as good. I feel like since I recently started to go to bed earlier and wake up earlier to go train before work I’m able to sleep slightly less (still a minimum of 7-8 hours) but getting better quality of sleep. Also I’ve noticed since starting my first cycle I’m able to wake up much easier, I’ve never been a morning person and I usually laid in bed for a while before actually getting up so I’d like to track my sleep now and when I’m off cycle to compare some stuff to try to optimize my sleeping schedule.

Hi,

I am normally asleep and can't track my sleep .
With all honesty, I tried a watch and a device next to my bed. Just more things to worry about.

Have a good comfortable mattress, dark room, if you need put some sleep music and set to off in 30 min.

Track your energy levels in the mornings. Yo will find that they change and go worse as you have less sleep.
Oversleeping can be a problem as well if you need to do something on the day.

Once I stopped worrying about monitoring my sleep, I just sleep. No music no nothing. Took time to get there especially after my separation.

Good book is why we sleep, great reading and audio.

Good luck

I personally use an Apple watch as my daily watch, and for sleep tracking, I use an app called "autosleep", I think it's just a few bucks on store. But it helps to monitor even my naps.
The graphs and all the charts can be overwhelming at first glance, but you will get used and there is info at every corner.

Oura or Fitbit would be my suggestion. The oura is fantastic, a buddy has it and loves it.
I’m about to buy an Apple Watch I might look into if they can track my sleep, if not I’ll probably just go with the oura ring. Sleep is something I’ve struggled with my whole life I either sleep 10+ hours and still feel ungodly tired, or I’ll be stuck awake until 2-3am then wake up at 6:30am but somehow feel like I slept super good. Since I started this first cycle I’m getting much better quality of sleep though, and I’m not still tired when I wake up.

Edit: just read the other guys post saying Apple Watches do track sleep so that’s the route I’ll be going.

Oh nice I’m actually planning on buying an Apple Watch I wasn’t sure if they had the ability to track sleep. That’ll save me some money since I was about to order one anyways thank you.

Yeah they have plenty of apps to choose from, that's just the one I use, but you can download any of your liking, and newer Apple watches I think even have a cooler tracking system than older watches, but older ones works good.

folks like whoop but u need to keep paying for it to do anything iirc.

everyone trying to milk this "subscription" model and its homophobic remark... good news china will offer free/cheap sleep etc tracking soon...

I have a Withings ScanWatch. Seems to work pretty well.
