If I see a good sale I might try it. Even glycinate isn't too cheap. I wish I could find it in bulk at a decent price but I'm stuck with nutricost powder that doesn't come in that large of a container. You can get a bigger bag of mag glycinate from bulk supplements but those assholes mix in mag oxide with it so it just gives you the runs instead. Are you supplementing with Magnesium? That's generally the other main culprit in terms of cramp inducing deficiencies if Taurine isn't it.
BTW for anyone reading, if you use Magnesium, I switched to the Threonate form recently, and holy shit what a difference in felt effect from glycinate. (which I found quite effective for sleep, bringing on drowsiness).
Threonate is on another level, a sentiment I hear from a lot of people who use it. I had to lower the dose because it was too calming (not sedating). Was turning me into a Capybara.
Developed by MIT, the only form of Magnesium that efficiently crosses the blood brain barrier (and alas under patent, active ingredient called "Magtein", so pricier than other forms, but well worth it).
I'm curious about trying the spray and rubbing it on my arms and legs. It's supposed to be really easy to make. Just water and mag chloride flakes if I remember right. I'm wondering how good absorption is
