Shawn Rhoden has passed RIP

Fact remains, a lot of top level bodybuilders/weight lifters on steroids, die a lot younger than the general population.

High testosterone levels can lead to thrombosis which is also one of the fatal manifestations in COVID-19 patients.

Sounds like the vaccine in combination with higher levels of testosterone can increase your chances of complications from the Vaccines.
And how high are we talking? Everyone here must be fucked?

John Meadows apparently got the shot 2 weeks prior to his death as well.

I'm not an anti vaxer but I know two people who have lost a family member weeks after the shot and someone who can't see very well anymore... Some gym bros have said their d-dimer has been sky high after getting the vax shot (suggesting active blood clots). Certainly doesn't make me want to hurry to get something that seems to have more dangers and side effects than a decade of straight up blasting gear which is what I've been doing without issues so far.

Anyone see his documentary film? I'm interested now. Have to search for it.

That's a very good point and I think somewhere it was mentioned about that in some rare cases there may be an interaction between AAS use and the vaccine. Hopefully we'll learn more once there's an autopsy report out.
The top powerlifters / bodybuilders , especially the powerlifters I noticed, a higher percentage than normal died an early death, and this was before Covid.

To anyone serious about their health, please tell your doctor you would like to get a script for a Cardiac CT scan. It cost about $100-150 (without insurance), takes 5 mins, and can save your life.

I just got mine done (Scored 0) thank god, But it makes me take my health much more serious as I am getting older. I also just do TRT now and I feel really really good. 100mg every 5 days puts me at 950ng/dl.

If anyone thinks here you can run high AAS longterm, remember, there is no free lunch.

Bloodwork won't tell you everything. Go get a Cardiac CT scan, a echo once a year (If you are always competing), If not, once every couple years should be okay. If you don't have the funds or time to do so, then understand you are playing with fire with your life.

We / this community should start anonymously tracking dosages/gear used as a long term project.

I'm interested in seeing what effect small amounts have on long term health:
200-300 test
2-3 IUs gh

I thought the same thing. A lot of data could be gathered from the members on various aspects/

As I have my physical coming up in March next year (will be nearly 58 then) I am going to ask my doc about this and maybe see if I can pay for it out of pocket and not on my insurance so as to be discreet.

Echocardiograms I will also get done.

Do it brother, 5 mins to check and most clinics it is out of pocket.

Yeah there's a clinic in my town and they may have a CT scanner machine so will check. My ticker's basically good but can never be too sure!

I've used a machine similar for a scan of my lungs when I had a severe lung infection some years back and it's better than the old closed-in ones that give me claustrophobia.

The larger doses, increase in other ped’s, and social media where there is no downtime has to be part of this. But there is one thing no one talks about and that is the effect of rec drugs and partying on top of all this stuff. No clue about Shawn but party lifestyle, boozing it up on weekends, coke, pot, and all the other drugs going around, plus no one works out without tons of stims anymore, you guys are fooling yourself if you think that doesn’t multiply the risks of gear. I read too many people pounding rec drugs and booze like an addict and then banging tons of gear and joke about it. Time bomb. You don’t have to live like a hermit but think a little.

Apparently he had past history of struggle with addiction, which is very sad and unfortunate.

I know steroids didn’t do him any good in terms of health, but it feels like every time something like this happens, the person in question always has something other than gear that’s doing them wrong…

The poison just like anything is in the dose and the type of steroid.

250mg or less of T a week might have some effect long term and probably does, but it's not gonna kill you when you're 45 years old. It might take a couple of years off your life.

When you take other steroids you raise your blood pressure and when you're older like myself it does cause problems, with irregular heart beats, pounding pulses, high hct.

Bottom line is maximum heart function is going down hill after 35, that's a fact, I've tested this on myself with trying to achieve a maximum heart rate and seeing how high it can go as I age. I kept extensive logs of what I could do in my 20's and 30's. When I was 32 I go up 216 bpm. At almost 50 now I can get up to 188 and I suspect by 60 I'll be lucky to hit 180.

Best advice to anyone that loves steroids, is to stay lean and keep the midsection slim and when you get to your mid 40's drop that weight and worry more about quality of muscle instead of quantity because your heart can't handle this at 50+ it's just not gonna last. Stay away from AI or anything that brings estrogen down.

Steroids aren’t poison, they aren’t what kills people, what kills people is being overweight, wether it’s fat or muscle, for extended periods of time.

I agree, being big is the core problem when you age, the heart can't take it.

That's why I suggested we older guys be pulled to the side and told that it's time to drop that weight if you want to live.

All I'm interested in is decisions based on science and facing reality that as we age we simply can't take what you young guys can do with your bodies.

America has a nasty habit of trying to ignore the fact that we all will be old one day. Youth is worshiped and older people desperately try to hold onto their youth long past the date they should.

Kali muscle having this heart attack, dude needs to drop weight fast and stop pretending he's 25 years old.
