Seeking Support with personal struggles

Male 28
Hello everyone,

I'd like to open up about some personal struggles I've been experiencing lately and seek your advice and support. I've been feeling down and overwhelmed, grappling with a sense of being unwanted and unattractive. I've never had a girlfriend, and it has started to take a toll on my self-esteem.

I'm currently taking 100mg of Zoloft daily as prescribed, but I haven't noticed any significant changes in my emotional state. It feels like I'm just going through the motions, and this lack of progress is disheartening. It's almost as if I'm taking a placebo instead of a medication that should help.

In an attempt to improve my overall well-being, I've been going to the gym consistently for the past three years. Unfortunately, I haven't seen much progress due to poor sleep and an inconsistent diet. I find myself growing frustrated and demotivated, especially when I see seemingly confident and attractive individuals around me.

Now, I'm left wondering if changing my approach and incorporating gear (supplements or performance-enhancing substances) could potentially help me gain confidence, reduce anxiety, sleep better, and become more motivated to maintain a healthier diet. I'm eager to hear your insights and experiences in this regard.

However, I also recognize the importance of addressing the underlying issues at hand. Simply relying on external factors may not lead to long-lasting solutions. Therefore, I'm open to any suggestions or advice on building self-confidence, improving mental well-being, and cultivating healthier habits.

I genuinely appreciate your time and support, and I look forward to hearing your perspectives on this matter. Thank you all.
Gear would be a horrible mistake for someone in your situation.

You dont have the foundational discipline nor training experience to properly benefit from them.

youll just end up wasting your time entirely if diet and sleep isnt fixed and iron clad before hand.

Manipulating your hormones (outside of medically necessary TRT) and depression and especially antidepressant medications DO. NOT. MIX.

ok debbie downer, look at the negatives, nitpick and do the safe things

got it
Brosky you simply can't find a place were they pay 50% more for the same job.

Taking shit load of gear just because Jimmy is afraid of taking will lead you to nowhere

Look what a guy above explained with social media and real life. If you imagine all those things how you will become rich, have a holiday on a 5 star resort costing 1k/night and drive a Mercedes AMG in time it will lead to a more severe depression.
The reality is that you are a looser working at a warehouse for minimum wage or a bit above and you can't get a partner because no one is interested in a average Joe minimum wage warehouse worker.
It is what it is.

I suggest to start being afraid to think maybe then you will try to defeat that fear.

you're either autistic or you need to take your AI, or both

1. I don't know were you live but the salary for doing the same type of job are aprox the same everywhere. You will not get a 50% increase just because you change the company.
A warehouse worker let's say earn 1k no one will pay him 1,5k and he is doing the same thing. It might be a 5% difference but usually the work conditions are worse(work in cold, work with heavy stuff)
2. I don't recommend doing the steroids dose people are afraid. In this is all about progressing in time and a lot of time is needed. At first take 0,5 mg/kg then 0,75 mg/kg and so on as you need more aas. Don't blast 10g just because Jimmy is afraid of taking 10g.
3. That with imagine perfection for yourself and what things you want it will lead to more depression.
I already make warehouse managers salary while i am regular warehouse worker avg salary here is like 1800€ gross i make 2600€ monthly 40 hours a week

Replying to the original post from personal experience.

You may have case for something like TRT, 200mg/week max. Anything more that than and you will experience worse sleep, and over time, more side effects including problems with mental/emotional wellbeing.

The results you see in the mirror will basically be the only thing inspiring confidence, if you eat right and train right.

Consider getting a blood test for testosterone.

my total test is 766ng/dl

Your test is fine trt would be counterproductive imo just shutting yourself down to have to be on trt possibly for life.

You're not making gains because of diet or training. Highly training. Kids love to hop on gear before they even can bench 135... it's your choice but you should get a hold on your mental situation. You will be disappointed in the end when the outcome is short term as you have no grasp on how to gain or diet and everything you think you gain is lost and now you have body dysmorphia in addition to the other problems

My hair is thinning i will be probably bald when im 35 so there is no way i will get girls in their 20s when im in my 30s so i kinda fear of missing out if you know what i mean
So far u guys gave excellent advice.Ironically best harm reduction is to take no gear lol

Or you will end being in your 40's and being in the same situation that you was 20 years ago but now you are a lot older
Being older don't guarantee you anything. If you didn't manage now being 45 it won't help you either.
Those that get girls being 45 I bet that wasn't almost 30 and haven't had a girlfriend until then and when they got older younger girls will jump on them.
Nothing magic will happens when you will turn 40 but you are just older and that's more sad than now.
Brother, you have a horrible self image. Work on your self esteem. Your words above are such a negative view on life on that I would depressed too. I wish you the best and hope you find your life to be fulfilling.

I have worked in mental health for several years.

SSRI are just a licence given to you by your doctor. He has assessed you, and has seen that you will be a good patient, long term, when, if even works, homeostasis kicks in and will add or change to another medication.

I have seen this many times. You don't feel changes. Believe me. There are changes. You are slowly fading away. This small but unnotisable changes are permanent. Serotonine Syndrome and ED is there too.

I have assessed, and had access, to hundreds of patients records. Less than ten went back to stop meds and normal life. Usually ARMY PTSD strong people who had to kill others or other people who had a berevament.

That's all. Start there.

I'm seeing a lot of excuses. If you want to be badass, you have to do badass shit. Eat, lift, sleep. AAS don't matter if you don't do those things. Same with your mental health. You can't just stay inside on the couch and pop a zoloft. Get outside. Go for a 3.mile walk. Hike a mountain. Move your body to move your mind.
