I take about 4g IIRC, my doses are almost identical to @imthankful
@imthankful @ChemBB
What does it do for you @ those high dose?
I also love phenibut, it was so easy to get back then too.
Alot of supplement companies no longer sell it anymore..
However tolerance builds up rapidly and i always felt like there was some rebound effect (anxiety).
I can't really follow, what do amphetamines and opoid-like substances have to do with the OP's intended purpose?
Wanna go down another rabbit-hole? I bet you didn't expect me to come up with DNP, or did you?
DNP at around 0.03 to 0.07 mg/kg is apparently neuro-protective as well. Some people seem take around 1-2mg against brain-fog, or as a nootropic.

Protective effects of 2,4-dinitrophenol in okadaic acid-induced cellular model of Alzheimer's disease

The mitochondrial uncoupler DNP triggers brain cell mTOR signaling network reprogramming and CREB pathway up-regulation - PubMed
Mitochondrial metabolism is highly responsive to nutrient availability and ongoing activity in neuronal circuits. The molecular mechanisms by which brain cells respond to an increase in cellular energy expenditure are largely unknown. Mild mitochondrial uncoupling enhances cellular energy...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

2,4 DNP improves motor function, preserves medium spiny neuronal identity, and reduces oxidative stress in a mouse model of Huntington's disease - PubMed
Huntington's disease (HD) is a neurodegenerative disorder caused by a CAG repeat expansion in the first exon of the gene huntingtin. There is no treatment to prevent or delay the disease course of HD currently. Oxidative stress and mitochondrial dysfunction have emerged as key determinants of...pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
2,4 Dinitrophenol as Medicine - PMC
In the sanctity of pure drug discovery, objective reasoning can become clouded when pursuing ideas that appear unorthodox, but are spot on physiologically. To put this into historical perspective, it was an unorthodox idea in the 1950’s to suggest ...pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Neuroprotective actions of 2,4-dinitrophenol: Friend or foe? - PMC
2,4-dinitrophenol (DNP) has long been known to be toxic at high concentrations, an effect related to uncoupling of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation. Five years ago, however, we reported that low concentrations of DNP protect neurons against ...pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
Have fun!
Even @ low doses, i do see a decrease in performance with DNP, kinda annoying..I usually run a low dose all winter.
