RIP Kobe

I guess they were going to a basketball practice, and one of the daughters best friends and her mother happened to be on board. This story is unfortunately getting a little worse as the hours pass.

Watching Sportscenter it's crazy how much current players idolized and looked up to him. He had the most insane work ethic and was one of the most savage competitors of all time. You can see how much people were impacted.

Very sad especially given that he has a kid who is only 7 months old. His daughter was very good. Only 13 already had offer from UConn.

RIP Mamba

So unfortunate, and the part abt stuff like this that is getting ridiculous, is somehow assholes are going to make a racial issue out of it and bring all that up

Kobe Bryant: "Sports/fantasy is a blend of two of my passions: sports and fantasy storytelling. I’m a voracious reader and huge Harry Potter fan. So, it was a natural fit for me from that perspective. And, I think kids respond to lessons they learn while being entertained. It connects back to my desire to want to bring joy back to youth sports, while teaching important life lessons. Fantasy and magic draw people in—especially kids."

Kobe Bryant's Final Project 'The Wizenard Series: Season One' Gets Posthumous Release

Even after his death, Kobe Bryant is sharing his passion for basketball — plus a little bit of magic — with the world in a new way. Bryant’s final creative project, The Wizenard Series: Season One, was released on Tuesday, and immediately hit number one on the Amazon bestsellers chart. The young adult novel was co-authored by the late NBA star, along with Wesley King, who is known for bringing superhuman powers into his teenage narratives.

These Coronavirus panic people are fucking awful. “Distracted by Kobe’s Death”???

Well fuck lady I’m sorry I picked the wrong day to die with my daughter and 8 other people.
Level 10 right out of the gate, lol. Love it.

I'm hoping that it's more of a hindsight statement, but despite all that we're looking at a solid 2 months plus some when that paper dropped. Nobody took it as a serious threat for our country then. By the numbers in that paper the US could have theoretically well over 1250 infected waking around spreading the virus on the date of publication. The virus, with sometimes having an incubation life of 14 days, could have been spreading for a month prior to the first case being reported (which would take that theoretical 1250 and drive that number sky high). From a science perspective I hope everyone realizes how wild this is. All of the hype, the distress and disaster talk, doom and gloom etc is beginning to show it's ugly face. We have another few weeks of an uphill battle that's just showing its tip right now, the rest of the iceberg is starting to show....
