Reta while bulking for fat loss?

Is it reasonable to use Reta while bulking for its fat burning effect while getting over its appetite suppression to eat in a moderate surplus?

Unless you need it to keep your insulin sensitivity while consuming high carbs, I wouldn't use it on a bulk. Even if you can eat, it slows down your digestion and you're gonna have a lot of food trying to pass through your intestine at a slowed rate on a bulk.

You’re better off focusing on gaining as much muscle mass as possible during your bulk… also using it for the bulk will cause unnecessary receptor desensitization when you can just run it on a cut and shred fast

It depends on how it impacts your appetite. Are you planning to run HGH? If so how much? It’s a balancing act between appetite suppression (most don’t get it at low dosages), increased insulin sensitivity (big plus on a bulk especially with HGH), and slowed gastric emptying.

I run it basically year round (few sensitivity breaks here and there) and never had an issue with bulking. Microdose on a bulk (0.5 mg MWF) and you don't even notice the slowed gastric emptying or hunger suppression. If you are working hard enough you WILL be hungry.

I don't go high on the GH (2-4 IU daily) so I can't comment on that particular combo but I'm always insulin sensitive. Fasted BG hovers in the 70s.

I'm 203 lbs. lean so maybe not the mass monster some guys have achieved but I'm by no means a small guy.

Use it all the time if you can. I use it at 2mg all the time. I don't get much if any appetite suppression from it which is good because I don't want any appetite suppression as I don't have issues controlling my food choices, binging, etc. Reta has a lot of health benefits beyond appetite suppression and it keeps my blood glucose in the low 80's on 10iu of Serostim.

No it will make it harder to bulk because it will suppress your appetite and you will struggle to eat the amount of calories you need
Depends on the dose you're using. I get no suppression at 2mg per day which is perfect because the other benefits of Reta are more important than appetite control. It makes it nearly impossible to gain fat when bulking no matter what I eat especially with GH.

Im not sure what you question is, but retatrutide could be good for insulin sensitivity during a surpus as well as an aid during fatloss for more efficient fat loss and less appetite/hunger and food noise.

I worded myself poorly, I meant minimize the amount of fat gained compared to muscle. Not overall stop gaining fat or even losing it.
Gotcha. That makes more sense. It could help with that. Better blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity. But there's a point where the dose could go to high, slow down digestion too much, and significantly suppress appetite. It's a fine line. If you've never been on reta, start low and build up slowly. GLPs have a half life significantly longer than a week. So, even if you feel good after a week, that doesn't mean it's safe to up the dose. Ideally, you would maintain that dose for at least 3 weeks, preferably four, before making the decision to up it.

If you've never used it before, it's hard to know how much it'll blunt appetite... if you really get the appetite suppression, it'll be a miserable time trying to eat for growth. Even 2mg for me really killed all hunger, and I'm normally an eater.

Thank you, and everyone else who gave informative replies. I’m currently on 1.5mg of Reta, I’m managing to eat pretty well (I’m already fairly lean just trying to get a little bit leaner before starting a cycle) and I feel like I’d be able to use this dose to get its other benefits while bulking, but I just wanted to make sure its not a totally bullshit idea and see if anyone has experience trying it.
