Resting Heart Rate & Sleep

Hi,

I have an issue since one week, that my resting heart rate is at 80 average. Yesterday I tried to take a nap on the afternoon and my heart rate was at 105 while trying to sleep and after that I didn‘t felt good. I couldn‘t sleep at night too.

I feel restless and uncomfortable all the time like a burnout.

I took 25mg Exemestan EOD since December after my bloodwork because it was at 188 pg/ml. But I take one week break because I got joint pain everywhere in my body and because of pain I always started to cry in the gym. I assume after 4-6 weeks my E2 got too low. I will start again with 12.5mg EOD and test again in 4-6 weeks with lab.

PEDs:
250mg Test E EOD
100mg Drosta E EOD
100mg NPP EOD
5IU HGH

Meds:
16 mg Candesartan
5mg Amlodipin
50mcg T4

Supps:
Whey
Creatine
Multivitamin
D3/K2
Vitamin C
Vitamin B6
Base Powder
Magnesium
Zinc
Boron
Taurine
Omega 3
Ashwagandha Shoden
Melatonin
5-HTP
Pre-Workout
EAA
Citrullin Malat
Cluster Dextrin
Citrus Bergamot
Astragalus
Nattokinase
Coenzym Q10
NAC
Berberin

I did my bloodwork in December and almost everything looks good. PEDs are in use since October and GH since December (1 week before lab).

I‘m not sure, but since I started T4 before 10 days it got everything more worse day by day. Maybe it‘s because of the GH too. I still have Carpal Tunnel, Water retention, swollen ankles and my blood glucose is at 100-110 and after 1 hour at 90 without food. Blood pressure about 130/70 average.

I would be very thankful for your help!

Are you overtraining? I’ve done this to myself before where it was so bad my wife thought I had the flu. Couldn’t get out of bed all day. Entire body was achy. It definitely looked like flu but i had no fever and no respiratory symptoms. And my appetite was fine. The first sign was my Apple Watch let me know that overnight my resting heart rate that was usually high 50’s was in the 80s, and during the day while laying in bed it was nearly 100. I made sure to just rest that day and the next. Get in plenty of fluids and food. And took some ibuprofen for the aches. Resolved in 24 hours.

Edit: I just read your post again and your cycle is nearly identical to mine down to the mg and iu. The acuity that these issues came on makes me think it’s not gear related. The AI use could tank your estrogen but that wouldn’t explain the heart rate and feeling like shit.

However, while 50 mcg is a low dosage of T4 it’s the most recent change and might be worth stopping to see if this resolves. If you don’t need thyroid replacement adding extra can possibly explain this.

Well, I have almost the same feeling at the moment. I have to test my resting heart rate with my Apple Watch while sleep. But I am sure it will not be good.

I am doing 25 minutes indoor bike with 130-140bpm since November without one day rest. 10k steps every day too. I am not doing too much volume (Push FB/Pull FB with 16 sets each) but I‘m pushing hard everytime and maybe over the weeks it caused a high cortisol (or imbalances regarding to PEDs or Meds). I’m bulking right now and eating around 4500-5000kcals per day.

Hmmm. Ok that doesn’t sound like too much volume. I was training 2+ hour sessions with lots of intensifiers and also doing cardio and dieting. Stupid I know but I had been on Tren and once I stopped it my body just said what the fuck. You’re on plenty of PEDs and food sounds adequate unless you’re like 250 lbs. but add that on to shit sleep it could make things worse.

Might be worth it to stop that T4 for 7-10 days and check thyroid panel. Hyperthyroidism does fit your reported symptoms.

try a few days of rest, but i have to say a rhr of 80 its crazy high.but i have to say that rhr is influenced by many things, for example my lowest rhrwas like 36 but i was going really easy on trining, now its like 50

I looked at the resting heart rate in the Health app for the last weeks. I noticed a big jump from 65-70 to 80 and above 3 days after I startet with HGH. Since then it‘s the same and didn‘t get better. I got 5kgs because of water in the first week of HGH. Could the heart rate caused by water retention that is mostly caused by HGH? My feet are swollen since weeks.

Would the best approach be to completely pause HGH or reduce the carbs for 1 week to get some water out of the body?

There are supplements too for water retention but I‘m not sure how effective they are.

Did you start the GH at 5 iu or ramp it up gradually?

with GH i would expect of a BP increase than RHR, though anything is possible, and it can disrupt your sleep if you are taking it before bed (some people say it makes them sleep great, others the opposite).

I would stop the GH and T4 and see you how feel. If things resolve, I would slowly re-introduce GH at 2 iu per day, perhaps in the AM instead of PM if you were taking it before bed and your sleep went to hell
