Rate My Fat Loss Protocol.

I started TRT at the full 350. Once I hit 300 I started full cycles along with weight-loss. You CAN lose fat and gain muscle at the same time if you have enough body-fat to supply the calories needed for muscle synthesis. PED's just make it that much easier.
For sure.
Definitely something to consider when I drop another 60lbs.

I've been keto since the start of this, and have been meaning to look more into the limitations of building considerable muscle mass in ketosis. With my shoulder keeping me out of action, I've just been procrastinating on that.

Now that I know of Reta (GLP's in general), I don't need to use keto as such a crutch. I was a fiend with carbs. Almost constantly overeating. But now I dont have to worry about that. Plus, you'd imagine I'm after/will continue to build a healthier relationship with food with all this food discipline.

I went on and off keto repeatedly with weight ranging wildly.
First go around took me from 315 to 220, that was in my mid 30s.
Since then it’s been back and forth yo-yo, more up than down.
Got all the way up to 360, started tirzepatide and testosterone last August, and shed 70-80 pounds in a little over 14 months or so, eating balanced diet no keto. I really feel like I’ve repaired my metabolism; I’m sure the Tirz has a lot to do with that.
Put on significant muscle over the last 18 months too.
So, highly recommend a GLP.
Currently hanging around 285 lbs, 7.5mg / wk Tirz, 200mg/ wk test Cyp, some GH and such, and feeling great.

Building muscle on keto is hard in general and keeping what muscle you have without training on keto is impossible

Hopefully GLP1 will help you continue to lose body fat with some more carbs to help preserve muscle... and hope you get that shoulder fixed soon so you can start training again

Congrats on getting to a point where you feel great, mate. Hopefully you get what you are looking for out of it!

I have a friend coming over to visit for a few days late next month, so will likely be having some carbs then. Something I noticed the last time I had carbs was a spike in libido - which has been dead to flat for some time now.

Not sure if this was just TRT fluctuation with the tweaking I have been doing or not, but I'll be keen to see if the same happens again when I temporarily add more carbs. If it does, then I will put some serious consideration into coming off keto now that I have Reta to ensure I don't overboard again. I'll update my progress thread when the time comes.

The TRT should go some way to preserving muscle mass. And apparently Reta results in less muscle loss also - I assume due to the glucagon aspect and making energy available to the body while in deficit. The GH and ensuring I am getting enough protein will also help.

But for sure, I need to get back lifting again. Fingers crossed the shoulder heals up over the next few weeks with the BPC, TB500, GH.

Lately with trt and a lot of body fat and calorie restriction, (and the knowledge I’m gaining forming this board), I am starting to seriously wonder what my aromatization is or my E2 levels are at… for me personally I’ve been studying TRT levels for about a month now so I think I’m gonna do this AlgoRX test/E2/SHBG test and get a snapshot of my levels.
Yes, my libido is also spotty

I would absolutely recommend looking under the hood.
I tell my friends and family to get comprehensive bloods done every 6 months, or at the absolute minimum, once a year.

A lot can happen in 6-12 months, and there's no point closing the barn door AFTER the horse has escaped. Private bloods are affordable nowadays too - just shop around to find the best price.

For someone like us who are on TRT and possibly other compounds, then I would recommend no less than once every 6 months. And then 6-8 weeks after tweaking anything.

If you have high bodyfat, and are taking supraphysiologic amounts of Test (200mg/week), then I'd confidently put money on your E2 being high. I could be wrong, but unlikely.
