On April 2, however, police arrested Paul Thomas Reis, 31, of 175 Hatton St. with more than $2,500 worth of steroids. According to police reports on the incident, the vice unit had been monitoring Mr. Reis after receiving information from confidential informants that he had been selling anabolic steroids and marijuana. On the evening of April 2, police observed Mr. Reis make a stop at an address on Edward Avenue, where he stayed for about a minute before leaving. Police stopped Mr. Reis for a motor vehicle violation shortly after this.
Once pulled over, Mr. Reis allegedly told police officers he was heading home to smoke marijuana. Mr. Reis then signed a consent to search form, allowing police to enter and search his home. [...]
Additionally, police found a briefcase that contained the following items - 80 Tamoxifen 10 milligram tablets, 33 ampules of 250 milligram Testosterone Enanthate, 257 Methandienone tables, 358 Stanozolol tables, five bottles of Nandrolone Deca, one bottle of Boldenone, one bottle of Sustanon, one bottle of Andropen 275, five receipts marked Sept. 20, 2005 for different drugs from the Medfast Compounding Pharmacy, Pittsburgh, Penn. and 25 3ml/22ga syringes.
Sgt. Mello said Mr. Reis had ordered a bulk of the steroids over the Internet from Athens, Greece on a prescription hed obtained from a doctor in Florida. After being taken into custody, police also found Mr. Reis to have nine 750 milligram Vicodin tablets.
Mr. Reis was charged with two counts of manufacturing, possessing or delivering a schedule III, IV substance, possession of arms by a convict and possession of marijuana first offense.
