This is me...I'm closing in on the squat and dL.. have a love hate relationship with bench.
Bench is way off, I hate bench with a passion and sometimes will just skip flat BB bench and just do DB.

Master classification is about the same in my fed and I want it badly, but I'm not quite there yet. By my next one I plan on being well beyond it though.

which weight class are you competeing in 220 or 242?
I'm doing 242 this time as I'm currently 237. I'm going to have to cut some weight after and see where I end up though.
how tall are you? i am currently 232 in the am, and also doing 242. and plan on continue to recomp and not switch classes. 220 just doesnt make sense for me to do, unless i can break a WR, at 6'3"

What you thought my wrangler's were skinny cut or something? Posterior chain development is the key to speed and athleticism. You may have 50lbs on me Squatch but I still feel bigger....

Since I can't do deadlifts not competitively any way. Those days are over. My first love was PL incase you guys didn't know! Started actively slinging weights at about 12. Got serious about 15. And participated in my first meet at 16. Won 3rd place. Still got the trophy. 300B, 275S, 405D. The funny thing was I didn't even practice a deadlift before that meet. Honestly. The "coach" was worthless and basically just supervised our "workouts". Just kids ya know. No guidance. Oh I was 189 BW then...skinny
So what are yall making goals? If so I would like:
1) 500 squat
2) 405 incline (3 reps)
I don't like heavy singles on upper body. If I can't do 3 I can't do it. Period
Some yall seen my videos. I was crushed by 455 (squat) 3x now. Leg drive for days. It just folds my lower back like a pizza. Docd has been helping me overcome this. THANKS @Docd187123 . I got serious about squats about a year back and permanently left the leg sled. Made tremendous progress in that year. A successful 425 squat albeit a little high for a green light. Still struggling to figure out how to work around issue...
