Quad Injections

For those that inject the quads on a regular basis...

Which area do you inject into? Do you have more, less, or similar post injection pain from quad injections, compared to other areas?

Quads and shoulders and triceps are all i do.

Quads all the way OUT not in. It doesnt hurt, just drop the needle in hard. Stand up put all your pressure on your left quad and put your right quad back a little bit so if u hit a nerve or something the leg wont tense up. Drop the needle in your right and inject.

Easy.

Can you get a demonstration pic for us bro?

outside of leg / your hand span from thumb to middle fingertip should be half the length from top of knee to hip / so inject half way down or one hand length up from knee or down from hip bone.

I was hoping for some different advice, because this is always how I do it.

Personally I love quad injections. I think they are so much more convenient then any other place due to the fact that you don't have to twist and risk moving the pin around in your body. I feel more soreness when I pin the glutes. I inject 2 cc's in my quad and rarely feel soreness and if anything its minimal. I put my hand on the top of my quad up against the hip bone and about 2 inches towards the outside of my quad from where the the middle fingertip lies. Bam theres your injection site.

You guys are some braves souls. Last time Injected into my quad, could barely walk for like 3 days. Ok I might be exaggerating a bit but my god it was so sore and definitely could do any leg workouts for almost 5 days.

Glutes and Shoulders are always the least pain for me. Have never tried bicep, pec or tricep injection. Honestly..... to scared too. Right now only injection I am taking are B-12. Been so damn long since I've had an AAS inject but itching to get back to it. Hopefully in 2011

I love quads, they are my favorite cause there is 3 different spots to hit on the quads. high med low.

there is no special area to pin its wide open. if you take your hand and place it horizontally above your knee, with one side touching your knee, always pin above there. then take your hand and place it horizontally on your thigh at your groin. always pin below there. while sitting in a chair, legs at 90 degree bend at your knee-draw a line from the center of your knee all the way up to your groin, always pin outside that line. other than that it is wide open.

i flex my quad and wherever i see muscle i pin, i even pin straight down sometimes high on the quad, instead of outside.

the trick to them not hurting is making sure they are COMPLETELY relaxed when you pin them.

to do this I

1# sit on the floor, both legs extended and flat
2# place a small pillow under the bend in your knee
3# slap the quad hard where you will pin to get it numb
4# use off-hand to grab muscle about 4 inches wide and pinch
5# insert needle into pinched muscle
6# slowly let go off muscle with off-hand once needle is inserted
7# complete procedure

if i have a bad one i usually know right away. to avoid this insert needle slowly, and if you feel like you hit a nerve, pill back a lil and take slightly different angle. if it hurts going in its going to hurt later. try to avoid this

once you get the hang of it i rarely, rarely do i get a bad pin. i pin up to 3cc's in quads

high and inside is the least painful for me

When you say, always pin outside the line from you knee to your groin, then you say the least painful area is high and inside, are these two different areas?

I've got to get past my love affair with delts and glutes. Maybe next time I pin quads, I'll try with a 27 or 28g, and see if that helps.

no- i just mean to pin close to that line-the line should be right down the middle of your thigh. stay outside the line. but only a 1/2 or so. the lower in the quad i go the more outside i go.

flex your quad and you will see what i mean
