Not really, you’re just returning an incorrect order & the UK police would see it as that as they’re not particularly bothered about PEDs.

I don’t doubt it’s different in the US & some parts of the EU, but this thread is UK specific.

Yes really, and I am specficially referring to UK law. Actual chance of it every being a legit issue, super slim, but it is still theoretically posession with intent to supply.

I repeat, chance of a problem, slim, however this + the more blatantly obvious risk to the supplier, just means sending it back doesn't make logical sense.

Quick update After sending back a week later I have received a tracking number for new parcel.

UK-based here with a decent grasp of the various laws around possession, possession with intent etc - still finding it wild that dealers are asking for items to be returned in the post.
