T said the CN gov got a year's worth of revenue. That's likely several+ 10s of millions of US $ based on my glancing at their bitcoin-connected transactions last year. Maybe more if they were doing significant market segmentation under different guises and accounting (which I suspect).Depends on whether the drug dealer actually dropped the cash or got away with it. If they dropped the cash, there is no reason, ever, to expect your money back.
And the physical seizures: unclear if CN gov will keep all the non-money assets (e.g. manufacturing equipment/consumables...real estate?) regardless of case outcome(s).
And finally, the human costs: it's not clear to me (unsurprisingly*) what happened to and/or is happening to T's colleagues/partners. It's CN after all.
I'm a softie, unlike most here (or at least unlike their personas) and that last thought puts my < $400 likely loss in a context.

* haven't seen any posts here of CN media articles specific to QSC seizures, maybe that only happens after the case concludes, if at all.
