Well, if you're correct, it'll be an easy, objective outcome to measure, because China, (and Canada and Mexico) will make absolutely no concessions whatsoever.

That'll make crystal clear they're in control.

For instance, they certainly won't waste their people's money stemming the flow of illegals and fentanyl across the border into the US. Not their problem after all.

Why do you think China cracked down on raws production after the election? Any theories? I genuinely have no idea.

(AAS aren't even mentioned as an item of concern in all the documents surrounding de minimus legislation. A ton of other issues from opioids to slave labor produced textiles and counterfeit bags, but not AAS, )

Just look at what really happens... the proof of the record itself...

This guy, "45" creates a problem, then solves his own created problem. It's all just for "headlines." "News" stories. It makes no difference to him if he actually accomplished anything or not... as long as he can "say" he did something... that's enough for him.

I completely agree. I would just add both sides do this and distract their party with what the other side is doing. I don’t belong to any party but my views are much more libertarian than anything. Unfortunately most of them are off their rocker.

-China would have still shut down raws production as they did right after the election?

-Would QSC still be operating? (this one is particularly difficult given we don't know what kind of heat came down on them, but I suspect it's related to the whatever motivated the crackdown on raws)

Curious to hear views on this.

I did find it very strange that the same week he was elected, QSC publicly admitted there was going to be issues. I did believe it was about fentanyl at that time.

I haven't heard (thankfully) anyone in the US screaming about steroids in a long time. Unless I'm mistaken, they're legal in China. It's an odd thing for the authorities to decide they needed to crack down on all of a sudden.

I mean yes it's a scheduled drug in most places. but seems to be something of minimal concern. Look at all the members here who had packs opened, oil vials (brilliantly) labeled TREN-H (lol), samples taken in some cases, closed up and sent onto the recipients courtesy of the CBP. Bizarre.

Before I answer your question...isn't that why you keep tying Biden to De Minimus and ergo the crackdowns? Didn't Biden start all this? What happened to him? So, it's Trump now? Oh, that's right, you said Trump accelerated it, right? You thought April, right?

The crackdowns should tell you how easy it is, especially for China, to predict what "45" is going to do. "Create a problem... solve his own problem."

To answer your question... who knows? China was hacking cell phones of both parties. Obviously, "45" was mouthing off (as always) and China knew what he was going to do. I imagine if Mamala did the same, then yes.

edit: but, keep in mind, 45 was talking fent from China on the campaign trail ("I have a problem").
