Please spare us the leftist "voting against their own interest" narrative. That level of contempt, along with throwing open the borders to mass illegal immigration and the loving embrace given to criminals is why that ideology was kicked to the curb.
I'll spare you nothing, you fucktwit, until you gain some reading comprehension and address my actual statements rather than ones reflective of some shade of political ideology that you presume I possess.
My analysis may be incorrect, but the demographics of those that voted for the president-elect are readily available. Typically, they earn less and are less well educated than those that voted for the cop woman.
If those people believe that the tariffs being proposed and stemming the tide of cheap labor will do anything other than cause inflation, then they're simply bad at math, thus my statement that they were voting against their self interest, but hey, at least the one guy lied and said he gave a fuck about the poor working class vs. the other folks that have steadfastly ignored them or better, told them how "privileged" they had to be because of the color of their skin while they suffered decades of declining quality of life and an opiate epidemic.
Regardless, the poor working class will suffer the most if the flow of cheap products and cheap labor comes to a halt. It will take a decade for the US to develop the manufacturing infrastructure to make up for that loss at which point, those poor working class folks may end up with decent jobs, but in the interim, inflation is going to be a motherfucker.
I don't belong to any team that you can readily deconstruct or dismiss. My fate is largely insulated from whomever you dumbasses elect. I will be fine. I will be more than fine when the prices at Walmart begin to creep up. It's not like I'm ever going to see the inside of a Walmart again in my lifetime.
