I miss just casually doing sets and reps with 315+ on bench. It's coming back so slow for me, 335x2 today was fairly hard.
If I recall correctly, I believe at one point you did 405 for a single? After you get your issues worked out, I'm sure you'll be right back up there in no time. Until then, just keep working on smoking that 700 deadlift. That's more cool than a heavy bench anyways. Ha
Yeah, 405x1 right around a year ago. Deadlift is definitely cooler, still miss benching heavy though.
Looks like your prep is going pretty well. You may still pull 600+.
That’s how I feel about this year. I’m hitting big PR for me. I wanted 405 bench, 500 squat, and 600 deadlift last year. Well I’m about 40-50lbs off each one and i want it this yearI have a good feeling about this year. Should hit some big Prs. Hoping to go after the state records I planned on beating a couple years ago and never did. Also just got an accepted offer on my second investment property for the year and already have my eye on another one. I'm helping the girlfriend start up a salon too. Seems like this could potentially be a year I remember for awhile.

Good luck man!!!!Meet day today, weigh ins in an hour. Should be coming in at about 200. Feeling really good. I've done a couple really light sessions in the gym this week. Did a single of 495 on the deadlift Wednesday. You would've sworn the bar was empty. Also did a triple of 315 with 2 second pauses, came up like nothing.
So I think my prs for the day might as well be 405 and 605. I was going to save the 405 for the gym, but I'm just going to go for it today. Maybe it will give me the extra motivation to hit it with a bunch of people watching compared to an empty gyn. Lol
