PRP vs healing peptides

Looking through various threads I noticed a few of you out there are in the same boat. My left shoulder has some missing cartilage, basically bone on bone in spots, and is a constant nuisance. I have periodic dull aching and some catching with sharper pains during pressing movements. I had a previous PRP injection and did get some relief for approximately 4 months.

Has anyone with a similar issue had luck with TB 500 and BPC 157? More specifically, is the condition too far advanced for the peptides to make a difference?

I’m not opposed to going for more PRP injections. But at $500 a pop I’m looking for viable alternatives or something to use in conjunction for added relief. Thanks in advance.

The (in)famous rat study for BPC would say no injury is too great. lol

To be completely honest, I battled with tendon shit for months last year before finally hopping on the BPC train, and had it solved in a couple of weeks. This year, had a bit more intense trouble with the MCL after squatting heavy for a meso (previous injury from HS). BPC took care of that one in a three weeks.

Lastly, BPC and TB are two of the cheapest peptides out there, and the safety & tolerability are some of the best you'll find (peptide-wise).

Best of luck with the shoulder, friend!

I hear you and thanks. For the price I just might give it a go and see how I respond.

Definitely search and read about dosing protocols

Eg, BPC157 & TB500 2-3 mg/d

Most of the sources I’ve seen recommend 250-500 mcg EOD of BPC and 2mg daily of the TB. I have a local spot that deals with peptides and injections, setting up a consultation for next week. Just want to be informed as much as possible beforehand. Thanks

Oh dang, I might have to retract my earlier statement of it being pretty cheap. I have no experience with the cost of clinics. I was just talking pricing from sources here, but keep us updated on that clinic pricing.
Genuinely curious!

I had wear and tear combined with ligament damage in my foot joint. Despite years of resistance training and peptides, very slow results.

Recently I went all in with two big shots of PRP (ACP). I combined it with a daily regimen of 4 iu hgh, along with bpc157 and tb4. The addition of PRP 100% gave a big big boost to the healing. Not a miracle cure, but it got much better.

If the prices are reasonable I would like to give a local spot my business. If not, I found a couple sources here I’ll turn to. And of course I’ll share any info I come across.

The PRP definitely gave me much better relief than the steroid and hyaluronic acid injections. I’m skeptical that I’ll find an effective alternative treatment, but hoping to find something to use in conjunction. It would be a little more palatable if I could go biannually as opposed to quarterly. At the end of the day, I know everyone responds differently and the only way to know is give it a try. Thanks for the insight

I have heard of some insane miracle case stories from either stem cells or prp + stem cells.

I heard the same. The doctor doing my PRP injection mentioned it was basically a watered down alternative to stem cell treatments. He even recommended, if I was serious, researching facilities in Columbia. I doubt I’d ever make that leap but…

Never say never. Can't put a price on health right?

@AlexDavis43 Thank you very much! Can you please explain in more detail? Do you mean both peptides? So, BPC 157 2-3 mg daily, and TB 500 also 2.5-3 mg daily? How long should I inject it like that? You can also send me a private message. I would be very grateful.

I'll respond here in case anyone else wants to chime in. There are no solid answers to your questions and people will have different opinions.

I'd say yes, 2-3 mg each daily until resolution of your symptoms, and may want to continue for a few days or weeks after [just in case]

I have advance arthritis in one of my knees and a bunch of other nagging injuries. I just picked up 10 vial containing BPC-157 7mg & TB500 7mg each. I was going to run 1mg of each per day for 10 weeks. I'm also taking 4iu of GH per day

Now I'm thinking I should try to book a PRP appointment too.

To piggy back off of Alex, he’s right on the money. I’ve seen dosages as low as 500mcg per day for BPC and up to 3-5mg+ for some.
For my BPC usage I started at 500mcg/day for a week then bumped to 1mg/day. I would say I saw more benefits (better joint mobility, less pain) at 1mg.

Like with anything all the regular disclaimers apply ie, it’s dose-dependent, everyone responds differently, etc.

In terms of TB, I don’t have as much experience so I will bow out of that question altogether.
