Well, I have an infection. Injected a whopping .5ml tren-e yesterday. Woke up to a completely inflamed injection site. Red, hot, with a very painful lump. I’ve only had 2 infections in my life. They all start like this, I get the runs, then I throw up, then the fever kicks in.

Figured I would get ahead of it and grab an 18g and draw some of the oil back out and boy that a fucking disgusting. Giving it another hour before I go to ER. Last two infections were from sources 10 years ago. I’ve literally done over 1000 pins since then.

Fun stuff.

Trying to draw it back out with an 18g is a gnarly move haha. Hope you feel better soon, sounds terrible.

Yep. An oil depot was once thought to be a spherical object which slowly diffused. But anyone who’s ever injected meat with marinade would know that’s not the case. This study showed that injected oil depots have a large surface area running along the grain of muscle fibers. There is literally no way you’re going to remove that. Might be able to drain a puss filled abscess though if it’s actually infected. But that would likely lead to a devastating blood infection.

Go to a doctor.

Tossed all my axle shit. Unfortunately. Pinned some test and immediately swelled up like a balloon. What a joke. Seriously considering grabbing an 18g and sucking this shit out of me.

This is a confirmed infection from the ER. You guys would be surprised how much fluid you can extract with an 18 gauge and some pressure. Antibiotics prescribed to kill the rest off.

Certainly not recommended but when you have poverty insurance like me you like to try and save money lol

This being a harm reduction forum, I have to say: Please do not ever try to drain an abscess on your own. This can spread the infection and lead to sepsis which can kill you.

This happened to me when I was a young junkie about 20 years ago. Had to stay in the hospital with IV antibiotics for days. Nearly died. Kidneys started failing. So please don’t be as stupid as I was when I was a teenage drug addict.

I don’t hope that you have nothing to lose. I hope you view your life as valuable. As we certainly do. Guys may rip on people here but it’s usually because they are doing something dangerous and stupid or lying for no reason. We are putting chemicals in our bodies that modify our entire endocrine system. That alone is stupid and dangerous enough. So the simple things we can do like proper sanitization, technique, filtering, testing, titrating etc. are easy and a MUST. If we can’t get that right what else do you think we might be wrecking?
