Technically no. In manufacturing, a batch isn’t defined by the number of vials or bottles, it’s defined by the process. A batch is a single, homogeneous production run created from one lot of raw material, processed under the same controlled parameters at the same time.
The number of vials that come out of that run depends on yield and fill volume, not on an arbitrary limit like 100. You could get 80 vials or 800, still one batch as long as it’s from that same homogeneous mixture.

I'd expect the whole batch to be brewed and then stored together post filter after tho. Unless he's switching out bottles post filter but I wouldn't expect it to matter much either.
Are we expecting large variance spikes from changing the filters from each brew?

Could have 5 one liter "batches" thrown in one pot or just one 5 liter pot. What we are trying to determine is mix/max/mean batch volumes for a given batch number that share a common API concentration. (Each vial in that batch shares common concentration since it came from same solution).Yea i missed out on that, by bad.
(I think it depends on what he's brewing imo -- raws availability mostly)
I'm probably missing something but couldn't the overall average look good but still have one hot or under-dosed vial? Just seems inaccurate.If your average is gtg then all vials are gtg. If your average is not then mix all in a 100ml vial and dispense to smaller vials, to get the average.
